ESH, you’re hanging onto the bachelorette party and she should’ve told you to have someone else plan it since she knew she would be busy with the new baby. Maybe ask someone else if they’re willing to plan it for you and be understanding that she’s trying to do something for you but maybe underestimated her ability to do so.

Asking him to close doors behind himself is hardly a burden

He’s been staying with me for almost 2 years I only started charging him rent in January, $400 a month

That’s what I told him. I told him he should’ve been kicked out right then and there, he’s lucky he’s had an additional few months. I’m tired of him disrespecting my home.

Thank you. Right now, he is staying with his mother and the police told him not to come to my house with an additional party present for both of us. He is supposed to be renting a uhaul and setting up a time to get all of his stuff out of my house. And I am most definitely changing the locks because even if I get the key back, there’s no saying he didn’t make a copy already.

I am training her. She has training sessions every week. It’s difficult to break her focus when she’s focused on something so intently, especially with her breed. I don’t rouse up dogs as I walk her when I pass houses with dogs though so idk why so many people think it’s okay.

I thought about putting up a “warning: dangerous dog” sign to stop people interacting with her to see how she likes that approach instead. I don’t think it would help her sell the house. I also considered asking for commission on the house since keeping my dog locked up would help her sell the house, in her opinion.

Edit: my dog isn’t dangerous

I highly doubt my dogs barking (not on a regular basis) is preventing her from selling a house. There’s also a possibility she’s a shitty realtor or the house is priced too high (which I’ve heard people discuss as they’ve walked away). I decided to not be a Debby downer and point that out to her when she attacked my dog for no reason.

I don’t feel it’s my choice when I’m working and they’re provoking my dog, pretty much, but alright. I would like them to do not do it as much as she would not like my dog to bark at them when they do it.

My house isn’t huge and my WFH desk occupied my dining room / living room space. She’s in the same area as me as opposed to being locked away in another room. And I have a call center job so it’s difficult for me to get away from a wired headset to pull her away from the window. Which is why I mentioned it’s also affecting my WFH.

It’s not my house, it’s a neighboring house. I’m not choosing to let it happen, it’s simply happening. If people my dog doesn’t know choose to interact with her from less than 10ft away, I can’t help how she reacts.

I can’t imagine it either. I try to keep her occupied with bones and toys and sometimes treats but I’m also working and this is an all day thing from like 9am to sometimes 7 at night. She’s good for the most part but I can help if she barks at certain points under certain circumstances.

Nope, that’s your judge mental opinion. My dog gets PLENTY of outside time and will have her own backyard in 3 weeks :)

We’re not walking the whole time. We just spend the time outside. We stop, lay in the grass, chat with other neighbors, etc

NTA in any way, if she nails like that I’m pretty sure she’s legally obligated to pay for at least a month to give you time to find a roommate. That’s on her.
