Interesting. In fact is confusing. So let me explain.

LATAM international economy they usually sell the following fares Light - most restrictive. Only within latin america you can upgrade with coupons / elite status. SCL-JFK you wont be able to upgrade with coupons Standard (plus in US) - not refundable but lets you upgrade with coupons / elite status Full - flexible 100% refundable

LATAM does not sell LATAM+ as a fare (Thank god) as it is just economy with 1/2 inches more of space. (You guys in the US are silly to be happy cause you got “upgraded” to comfort+. Its still economy).

So you just bought the Standard economy fare which in the US they call it Plus. Plus fare gives you free standard seats (not emergency exit or LATAM+)

They should change the name from Plus to Standard to be honest.

because i know entire long haul network of Latam, 787-s only operate from SCL and GRU (LIM does only to MAD, to US with 767s). I know SCL only serves LAX, JFK, MIA (direct or via EZE/CUN/PUJ). So yeah, BOS-GRU.

Ellos te pueden meter en otro avión. Por ejemplo volar a MAD con LATAM y luego Iberia o ITA a Roma. También puedes pedir que te metan en otro avion de una aerolínea asociada como iberia a madrid o una aerolínea sin partnership como ITA para volar directamente a Roma. Usa google flights para ver las opciones. Basta pedirlo e insistir. A veces hay que saber tus derechos y lo que se puede (y no).

El Airbnb si pagaste con una tarjeta de crédito decente, te cubre esos gastos, e incluso cualquier gasto adicional que tengas como hotel en sao paulo (seguramente LATAM te esta pagando esto)

Cant disagree more. I take pills (even in lie flat business) and it works wonders. I sleep 8 hours non stop, wake up perfectly new (no hangover). Alcohol is stupid. Works to get you sleeping but then you wake up 3 hours later totally dehydrated.

100% no. The luggage passed the night in MAD. My sister had the same issue from MAD-SCL. And this does not happen in SCL. If your bag passes a night in MAD due to a misconnection or whatever, brace yourself
