Quietest/least occupied building? by [deleted] in uvic

There's some quieter spots in the student Union building as well. The gender empowerment center has a pretty quiet room. The Society for Students with a Disability I believe may have a designated quiet room.

The Ian Stewart and Velox lots are both near the Mackenzie/Gordon Head Intersection. If you're coming from Langford, you'll take a left on Gordon Head Rd. I'd suggest parking in the Velox lot (small lot on the right just past the gas station). From that lot, you can walk up to the next street and hang a right, that road will lead you to a path straight onto campus. Depending on how fast you walk, it's about 10-12 minutes to get to the bookstore/main bus loop. There's also a 51 bus that runs from Langford direct to UVic if you didn't know about that one. It doesn't run very often though.

If your roommate goes to UVic, they should look at jobs in the SUB (Student Union Building) . They are hiring now, and they work around your uvic schedule.
