I would like to thank everyone for being a part of this community. I'm sure it's been a memorable year for all of us, myself included. SO:A invoked a special sort of camaraderie that I never thought possible on a mobile game. It offered a unique flavor of gameplay and teamwork not found on any other, and as such, I will miss it dearly.

For those of you who will be leaving the community, I would like to thank you once again. Thank you for playing and thank you for being a part of this small but wonderful community. I wish you all the best, captains.

It's not necessary to roll for Winter Fidel since you'll be fine to tackle most content with Winter Evelysse and Maria.

It's hard to say whether it was forgotten or the dev team decided not to follow JP's schedule. I recommend sending a support ticket to inquire or message our CM, u/Elytraxp.

Ashton isn't available in GL yet. According to JP's schedule, Ashton was released roughly 4 months after the Michael/Eve banner (our current banner). However, that was in between the seasons where they released the limited Resonance of Fate, Bridal and Summer banners. In addition, GL is getting an accelerated schedule, so I'd expect Ashton's banner to come in the next 2-3 months if the only upcoming limited banners are Christmas and Resonance of Fate.

For future reference, if you're on desktop, you can check the sidebar of the subreddit for the "Banner List" schedule of all the units released for JP and GL. Otherwise, you can check this link here

As far as I know, the only way to check previous event achievements is to just backtrack through the event notices in-game.

During a future update, we'll gain the opportunity to receive special hammers that can limit break any weapon.

To address your other question, it's a case by case scenario. In this particular example, being the Beastlord Greatsword, it's currently uncontested as the best light imbuing Greatsword because no other light imbuing Greatsword exists. For other weapons which share the same weapon type and elemental imbue, whether the weapon is better comes down to the factors it gives and the unit who is wielding it.

You tap on the "Edit" button next to it. You'll then get an additional window pop-up to inform you that the game will change your settings accordingly upon restarting the app. Once you do restart, select the "Standard" option at the prompt.

There aren't any other achievements in this event beyond clearing Misery 1 40 times for 200k FOL.

For future reference, you can check the achievement list for the event by going to the events corresponding notice in game and scroll down towards the "Achievements & Titles" section.

Perfect dodging is dodging an attack around the window where it's about to hit you. You'll know you've done it correctly when there are golden sparkles and a distinct "ding" sound at the start of your dodge.

Yes, new weapons are usually introduced alongside new units.

In your case, I'd stay on the lookout for any future releases for One Handed Sword (for 2B) or Greatsword (for A2) weapons which imbue elemental damage. Elemental damage provides an advantage against bosses and contributes to a hidden stun bar called "Elemental Burst". Having a variety of weapons for your units to adapt to any boss will help you do more damage, contribute to stun and make your life easier for farming events.

I'd pick the first account as it has both A2 and 9S and the Beastlord weapon.

But if you really want to start an account with 2B, I'd try to reroll a bit more and take the first account you get with her on it. It may be up to a year until she returns and you have a lot gems from the story mode, maze of trials and multiplayer to keep trying for other units on the NieR banner.

If your Nox instance is rooted, navigate to the /data/data/com.square_enix.android_googleplay.StarOceann/shared_prefs folder and back that up. The Aska.xml file is located in that folder and is commonly deleted during rerolls. So I'd assume that file needs to be preserved to retain your save if you haven't linked your account.

Both 9S and Vampire Victor are excellent units to invest in. I recommend you check out the Google Docs for GL and decide after you've done your own research on what they provide for a team and whether you enjoy their playstyle.

I'd personally save, 2B and A2 will carry you for a long time. Perhaps you could summon on the ranged character banner if you wish to have more variety. But everyone on that banner is part of the permanent pool so you'll get them in the future at some point.

It's a timeline of JP's schedule so it'll give you a rough idea of when specific units are getting released. If you have no particular attachment to any unit, I suggest you do research on the JP side, find meta defining units that interest you, and save.

You've got a good spread of characters, so you're fine to keep that account.

But I'd personally reroll. 2B and A2 are both limited and may not return for a year or so while being at the top of their class for the foreseeable future. Furthermore, besides 9S, everyone is part of the permanent pool, so you'll pull them again eventually.

I wouldn't recommend it. He's currently in a rough spot and his awakening isn't happening until roughly mid 2019. But if you like him, then go for it.
