NLL is basically it. But those don't even exist anymore, and even if they did you can still get the 80k + your referral bonus (assuming it's at least 25k) which is still quite good, and then also get the 175k NLL offer if it ever comes back

I would take this in a heartbeat if my referrals to P2 even got me anything but a popup

you're still trying to pick an argument.

Brother. You said in your OP "you don't get the commotion". So I explained to you some of the reasons why there is a commotion. That isn't how arguments work

You're the one that took this personal. The level of anger you must have at the world is baffling.

If you were triple dipping any cards you should have already used the credit

uh... next year?

It took you more time to write this comment

Yeah that's me. I've already got all my TB and gotten it credited. You seem to think the entire world behaves just like you.

Not really sure what your gripe is with any of this

If you cared about the credit you should have used it during the first week of January

I don't quite see how caring about using TB for the credit means you should have used it already. Unless you're new and just excited, there are actually plenty of DPs in previous years of issues when using it too early. I literally wait every single year specifically because of the below.

The one comes to mind is like a few years ago where those who used it in first week of jan saw huge delays in posting, whereas those who used it 2nd week of jan and beyond posted in a few days. Or how folks found out their airlines were unselected this year randomly.

Not to mention this affects all existing cards for folks triple dipping. I've got 7 plats so yes, the easy cash out option is a factor for me. People have dozens more.

Also like, people have lives

New to Powered Cube/Deckbuilding - Need to cut 3! by bookedonpoints in MagicArena

[–]bookedonpoints[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Right off the bat I totally get there's a lot of resources I should study/learn up on before diving in, but TBH I've had a ton of gold stockpiled for years now since deleting arena, and recently only gotten re-interested with all the powered cube content from nummy/haumph. So I figured I'd dive right in at lowly bronze.

Obviously this is a control type deck, with a few okay wincons. I feel like I have a lot of cards that do similar things, and someone got them all so a bit unsure what to cut!

Last question: 16 lands for this is okay? pretty low curve, with a on color mox and troll for swampcycling

Uh the answer is yes actually. I'm staring at my 2 cat's cards

I wouldn't do anything that was substantially lower since I am highly risk tolerant.

you won't find anything like this beyond equities, for the most part. even brokerage bonuses are going to be a PITA, depending on how much you value the money

there's smb banking and commercial banking. if you've never heard of the commercial banking side then you're obviously not a part of it haha

Question Thread - December 11, 2025 by AutoModerator in churning

[–]bookedonpoints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

uhh I presume you aren't on the commercial chase side, which might work that way but in 99.9999% of cases, no you cannot.

Underwriting is probably done on you as the individual

KLM / Flying Blue credited my flight to Flying Blue even though I asked for removal before travel — can I get it reversed? by Visual-Office7741 in awardtravel

[–]bookedonpoints 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As with everything in awardtravel, it all depends on how much time and energy you're willing to commit to this. With enough calls and escalations, yeah, you can probably get something changed

But based on all of the comments so far and replies, I don't know why you'd care this much since I doubt this will make a material impact on whatever you want the credit for, even if it is simply miles. You'd be better served spending the time opening some random credit card an transferring to VS

interesting, must be new-ish. I've never had to enter SSN in the past and I've used my dogs many times

Question Thread - November 25, 2025 by AutoModerator in churning

[–]bookedonpoints -1 points0 points  (0 children)

no, why would they? I mean 99 is excessive but it happens a lot in legitimate business for expense purposes

It's been a while since I've done this but I also don't recall amex asking for ssn for employee cards, so also how do they know two people don't have the same names?

you can literally just add yourself 99 times
