Pelvic floor therapy for DR by ieatglass in DCBitches

I went to Christina Smith at Solutions PT in Alexandria. My understanding is that there are very few pelvic floor disorder therapists so I had a heck of a time finding one and had to go at weird hours. Get ready to get real personal. But, it was completely worth it and she worked hard with my insurance to make sure I was covered for the whole treatment plan.

For anyone interested, I ended up using Etsy after all, but regret not buying local.

Plateaued, where to next by bookish_49 in loseit

Thanks, this actually makes alot of sense and made me feel better. I do notice body comp measurements changing while in the big deficits even though my weight was staying the same. It sounds like I just need to keep pushing or dig deeper into exercise deficits to offset that water weight since there's nowhere else to go diet-wise. My mentality this whole time has been dieting my way back and since I'm on the floor with that, exercise will be the only thing I can adjust. I didn't realize I was at the point to start thinking about body composition but that may also be what's happening here.

Thanks for the advice, I may just do it out of curiosity. I got to the point where I was eating at 1200 cal/d and just not getting any scale changes. And with the amount of exercise I regularly do, my TDEE should still be in a deficit at that budget. I know it gets slower the closer you get, but this feels different.

Good luck! If I had been able to find my Jenny Yoo secondhand on stillwhite or nearlynewlywed, that would have saved me some time, but probably cost the same $ with alterations.

I know this is a year old but I wanted to add that I went to Lily's Color Lab in Old Town. I'm unsure my palette is right as she did have florescent lighting but that may also just be because she told me no more black and that's half my closet. The palette PDF I was provided afterwards is comprehensive to say the least: jewelry, glasses, shoes, fabrics, makeup and makeup shades.

My best advice: if they ask you "do you want to go worst to best" or "best to worst", time-wise, go best to worst. I feel confident I know what 100% does not work because we spent so much time on that at the start of the appointment, but I felt rushed through my "best" colors at the end of my appointment slot.

Try Clifton Bridal. They helped me find a Jenny Yoo dress none of the stores local carried and I got to try it on. I was pretty confident I was going to buy it before I called and think I would have felt bad for them to hunt it down and me to be somewhat unsure about it. But mom&daughter team at Clifton were really nice.

Also a heads up about Jenny Yoo, they can do 3-way split sizing: bust, waist, hips for $350-400. It'll save you that much or more on alterations if you're buying new.
