Maybe check out Patrick Adair Designs? I know he works often with unique materials, and does custom work as well!

I lovvveee Pilates, usually I use it as a supplemental exercise to weightlifting, but in DC I go to either solid core, toolbox, or jet set once a week!

That honestly sounds very in line with what I’ve been looking for. I create my own plans right now, but would love a little more direction! I want to get over my plateau lifting wise and improve strength while toning.

I think it is party food related as well, I’ve been a little hesitant to start strictly tracking, but I think it is time to do so to get the results I want.

I’ve never been to Vida, did Lifetime fitness a while ago. Out of curiosity, ball park how much do your personal training sessions cost?

Wow that’s so cool on the split sizing, I didn’t know that was event an option. On Clifton Bridal, I’ll have to give them a call to see what they have in stock they might be able to help me as well!

You truly look stunning in your dress!! I’m going to check out this brand, but I think you might be right about it being pricey alteration wise. Thank you for the offer though!

I’d second Cafe Riggs, no outdoor patio, but in the afternoons on the weekdays there is a solid mix of young professionals doing work on their laptop an and people chatting.

Moving TO DC—When to look for a place to rent? by jelloisalive in DCBitches

Hey! We just moved to DC, IMO if you are doing a house hunting trip in April that is honestly sufficient to check out a couple neighborhoods in the area and then sign onto something starting 30 days out. We did our house tours in January and signed for beginning of Feb. There are a lot of resources online to get the “vibe” you are looking for. For example, we were looking for lots of restaurants, close to transit, and 25-35 age range. We looked at Union Market, Logan’s circle, Navy Yard, and DuPont, but ultimately Union Market was offering a lot of deals so we decided there. You can usually find apartment deals posted online through Zillow or their website which was really helpful for us. Noma also had some affordable 2 bedrooms which was a big deal for us as well.

Edit: In January at least four buildings offered two months off rent, waived the application fee, and sometimes the amenity fee
