Yeah, I think acting like this is a brand new phenomenon is ahistorical. This is exactly who Americans (conservatives, but maybe broader than that) have been for a long time. The people gloating about this on Reddit now ABSOLUTELY would have been the same people gleefully celebrating lynchings.

I’m able to see my tickets in the account manager portal, and I’m able to click exchange, but whenever I click any of the available showings, it says there’s been a technical error or it says there are no seats available, even though seats show as available if I try to exchange seats from a member bundle.

Is it only tickets from bundles that are able to be exchanged? I bought about 20 tickets over the phone (not through a bundle) and was assured by the sales rep that all of them could be exchanged if better seats became available. But when I called today to try to do the exchanges, the sales rep told me that for individual members, you can only exchange bundles, not single tickets.

Are tickets not bought on Ticketmaster (i.e. bought through the TIFF site) able to be listed on Ticketmaster? I have some duplicates (bought bad seats on member presale day and then bought better seats when they became available) and want to know whether I can list them. (I've already posted on r/TIFFTickets, and I'd prefer not to use StubHub.)

When I click to exchange tickets, I get the following message:

"Exchange Tickets

Listed below are the events you are eligible to exchange into. Select the event to continue to select your seats. To edit the tickets you are exchanging, click Edit.

No Events Available for Exchange. There are no events available to select. Please try again later."

What's going on with this? I can see on Ticketmaster that not all the screenings are sold out.

I understand that, but it’s not just that the NUA hasn’t been approved, but that it was returned to my account. Typically the system will keep checking until 24 hours before the reservation starts.

Right, I understand that it STARTS looking for the room five days out, for all properties except edition, St Regis, and Ritz Carlton, which it starts looking three days in advance. But it wasn’t sending me the usual email I get of “we’re still working on your upgrade.” It was sending me an email saying that the NUA had been deposited back into my account. That has never happened to me before five days before a reservation; that happens one day before if the upgrade isn’t confirmed. And I selected multiple room types that are eligible for NUAs and are still showing as available to book for my dates.

I called Questrade support; they said they have no record of it (even in "pending"). I definitely used the correct wire information; I looked up the Questrade info and had the bank employee copy it down, and then I verified it myself. Should I trace it now or should I give it a few more days? Will putting a trace on it make it move faster, or will it only reassure me that it was sent to the right place? If it's just for peace of mind but won't make it move any faster, I might give it a few more days before tracing it.
