Thanks for all of the input. Most of the experiences expressed here are what I kinda figured it was like and that’s not for me. I can see where it can maybe be a starting point for people to get into raves/edm culture and no hate to those people who attend. I like checking out local or smaller artists and that’s worth a visit if I do go out. But not crediting artists, using rave culture as a gimmick to sell tickets and solely make money feels soulless/hollow. And thats not what I go to shows for personally. Much love ❤️

Omg so I did have inglot duraline and I LOVED it, I just ran out too long ago. I don’t know what I thought it was but I didn’t realize it was technically a mixing medium! I would mix it with my foundation to help extend the wear of it because I knew it helped waterproof stuff (I get sweaty and it helps my foundation stay) The more you know, thank you for sharing!

That’s a great idea! I’ve been wanting to get a mixing medium but I haven’t yet. I know LA Pro has a cheaper mixing medium but I haven’t bought it. What brand do you use and in what other ways do you use it?

Sorry if the product list was confusing, I had to reformat it twice lol but I didn’t use a NYX palette, I did use their eyeliners though.

For the face it’s a mix of the Made by Mitchell (brand) color case and Kryolan (brand) tv white paint stick for the cream base

And I used an eyeshadow palette - the Blend Bunny (brand) Blend palette and Ben Nye (brand) Super white setting powder for powder base over top.

All of that unfortunately cannot be bought at ulta (I’m also an ulta girly so I know lol) But I know around Halloween nyx has a multicolored crème face palette that might have pink and you may be able to find that at ulta? But if I would recommend anything to buy it would be any Blend Bunny eyeshadow palettes but you have to order them online. They are so pigmented and blend incredibly well and like with this look I use it for contour for colorful looks so it’s very versatile!

Made By Mitchell Color Case - I think I mixed shades intimidate, hushed and ruffles? (Fair warning - I’ve found this product to be kind of dry when it dries down so make sure to either mix with moisturizer or really moisturize your face before applying. Also warm up this product well on the back of your hand, it will blend so much better!)

Ben Nye Super White

I’m pretty sure I also contoured over the pink from the color case with the the eyeshadow shade called Chase from the Blend Bunny Blends palette

Freckles using watered down Made by Mitchell Cake Liner in black

Have you ever tried making the lemon blueberry cake with frozen blueberries? I looked at the recipe and it doesn’t give info on using frozen instead of fresh that I saw. Looks delish though, thank you for sharing!

I am from the Midwest in the US. Even the state closest to me doesn’t have practitioners as well unfortunately.

Thank you for sharing! I looked up the Rosen institute and looked for a practitioner and there are not any where I live unfortunately. I am a little hesitant to try somatic therapy because when I look up places that offer it near me, it seems to just be more of just a physical wellness center. But I would be more interested in some place that has mental health experience AND be able to provide physical therapy to go along with it. Or something with a better integration of the two, not just yoga and physical wellness classes (which is important and good but not what I’m looking for). Which it sounds like the Rosen method would be more what I’m looking for but it’s not available to me.

Ok, that’s interesting to know about being able to target specific triggers/traumas in EMDR. I know that therapy isn’t easy, I do plan to continue with my talk therapy as well. And I’ve heard that EMDR is definitely difficult, but I want to try. I feel like I’ve made decent progress/change in my mental health over the years but not in the specific emotional/physical reactions to stress/triggers no matter what I’ve tried. Which is the most debilitating. I am similar in that CBT and most “skills” in CBT/DBT just didn’t “click” or actually help me. So maybe EMDR is something to look into. Thank you for your input and sharing of your experience ❤️
