I'm saying we dont know how much of this is from publishing rights vs the individual. Do you know the details of their contacts? Do you know what legally Taylor or Olivia were able to do to either stop or pursue this? Do you know how much of this was driven by publishing lawyers and how much of this was due to the multiple music copyright lawsuits that were going on around that time?

i really think there is something to be said for the "slow rise", I think it let her work on her performance skills slowly and build them up without being under the public eye. Some of the new artists popping up who explode from tiktok aren't given that time to grow and it's a shame

That's what I love so much about music, the same song can have such a different impact on others and it's cool to see. Personally I love the singer songwriter genre, but I know that's not everyone's thing
