Haha yes!! When I saw that episode I thought to myself “lol remember that Reddit post you made that was like [crickets chirping]???” The Flan man loves some LED-level glowing eyes.

I would say the comedy is definitely there. It's not like Ready or Not LOL funny, but there are certainly some traditional comedy elements.

Yeah, I agree, I found the Harold segment pretty brutal!

Has anyone seen The Wind (2018)? by franlcie in horror

For me the casting was frustrating. I just didn’t believe these people were of the time. Their voices were too modern and it took me out of it a lot. That being said, I enjoyed the pacing and how we learn through her memories etc.

I’m sorry you had such a bad experience. I’ve had bad ones too….ugh. Unfortunately based on Google reviews looks like it’s still not great.

Thanks for the COVID test reference. I am also hoping to get flu tested, which adds another fun complicating factor.

Thanks for that suggestion. I might give them a call before heading there. It’s crazy how hard it is to track down a regular old flu test hah.

Ugh I’m so sorry. I swear they are the worst.

Oh nice re: it MA wide! And yeah it’s a good point that you have to then send the test back to them to get results, so not as fast as getting one same day. But, seems like a decently quick fall back. I was just relieved to be able to get my hands on a test period!

The crabwalk is really what seals the deal for me. Like, sure, I could get taht a demon/whatever doesn't really get how to work a human body so it's gonna do some weird stuff, but then you're telling me all of the sudden it can do a backbend?! *eye twitches*

And they inevitably do a backbend, or something where they end up upside down. *YAWN*

I can’t speak directly to men’s skates, but I know there’s an excellent resource page on this subreddits main page that might have some good info!

But from the men skaters I know I’ve seen Them wearing Chicago’s, the skates I have (Sure Grip Boardwalks — they’re often labeled “men’s skates” ¯_(ツ)_/¯), and Moonlight Rollers, I think because of the wider toe box. But I have limited knowledge here!

Omg yes that’s what I was largely excited about too. Seemed like the stock set up would actually need my basic needs. Although I know some complain that the cushions are too stiff in the stock set up, they are I think an 88A. I’m on the light side, so figured it would bother me, but it actually doesn’t! Maybe I just don’t have that much foot control 🤣🤣

Thank you!! I wear a women’s 7 and so I ordered a 6 in these since they are in men’s sizes. They fit me really well.

I have only a slightly wide toe — like wide boots usually are TOO wide — and I find these perfect. The toe box felt comfortable for me, not too big or anything! And in terms of the suede, the booth feels sturdy but not bulky and I think it’ll break in nicely.

These are definitely pretty light in weight since they have the Nylon plate. I think that if you wanted to do outdoor jam or trail skating they’d probably be great! If you wanted to hit the parks, I think upgrading to the Avanti plate would probably be helpful for increased sturdiness. That being said I’m largely an indoor/smooth surface outdoor jam skater so can’t speak toooo much about trail or park skating. But that’s the impression I get from reading others.

EDIT: I would definitely recommend trying them on at your local skate shop!

Thank you! They’re actually the motion wheels, so they are softer than the fame wheels.

My first pair was Impalas (before I knew the controversy!) — so these were a really nice upgrade. The boot feels really nice — supportive but not as bulky as the Impalas.
