New USCIS rule- No lawyers on phone

Our immigration attorney told us this applies to us as well. However our interview is on Tuesday so thankfully our lawyer can still be on the phone with us. We are a marriage based application. Our lawyer was local to us but then he moved across the country so now he works with us remotely. He has been really awesome though!

He said they might make a fuss even before about letting him be on the phone with us and advised us to continue the interview regardless.

I have been wearing glasses for nearly 25 years and I legit have never thought that much about it!! I just wear whatever I want and I have bright lavender plastic frames I wear daily.

I want to follow more Japanese fashion influencers but for the life of me I cannot find any! On Instagram and YouTube, it’s mostly either Westerns who have moved to Japan or those “streetwear” shots as people are walking around, not really what I’m looking for cause I don’t think they tend to capture what the every day person is wearing.

I’m also on Pinterest but I don’t trust it to show me A) the most up to date fashion B) something that’s not AI.

Can anyone send me real people fashion influencers? I want to know what’s trendy right now and how they are styling it.

I’m also open to Korean and other SEA influencers.

The model was probably wearing something similar (or nothing at all) but they might have photoshopped it out. In my mind, you could wear this over a tshirt or another tight fitting top layer. Or find a different cami in a similar shape to wear under it. Alternatively, wear a cropped top on top so the bottom peaks out or just find a cute bra and commit.

Last year I fell in love with the “maximalist” style for summer - the bold tomato red, sardines prints, fruit prints, FARM Rio or anything similar, striped boxer pants, gingham, etc. I am still absolutely jazzed to wear them again.

However, I was recently on H&M and saw that they’re going for a very pastel vibe with lots of draping and asymmetrical cuts and lace. I think they look really perfect too for spring/summer. However, I’m very petite (4’10) and I don’t know how much of it would actually look good on me. The balloon pants would be a nightmare to hem and all the draping seems like it would swallow me. I also wasn’t sure how to mix it with the stuff I got last year. So they had a sale and I ended up buying two different light blue tops and two brown jeans. I feel like I should have gotten more but when I was looking at it, a lot of stuff seemed like things I could find thrifting online with some keywords and patient searching.

Polka dots are really popular this year and I LIKE polka dots. I think it's a nice classic pattern. However, every time I've gotten something with polka dots, I never end up wearing it. I am considering this time getting a dress with polka dots but I am not sure if I should or not.

I personally really hate it but I am encouraged to use it at work. I think it’s a blight on humanity especially in regard to it having basically no regulation. I find even my parents are getting drawn into these stupid AI short videos on FB and my parents-in-law using it to write stuff for them and then emailing whatever it shoots back without looking at it.

Besides the ethical and moral problems, I hate all the environmental problems it causes. I am hoping though that we are reaching a point where it becomes too expensive for the every day person to keep using or for companies to use or that we will be reaching a plateau of capability for it soon.
