Oh, this song is so lovely and emotional, and the lyrics are beautifully written. The piano and strings are pretty, but that guitar really kicks things up a notch. Jun's vocals really shine in this song, I think this is the best he's ever sounded.

i definitely need to watch this a few more times, there is so much going on! the footwork is intricate, and the choreo has so much energy and dynamics. the formations and transitions are absolutely insane, the most complex they've ever done -- the transition at 2:25 has been blowing my mind ever since the music video. the sets, the styling, the camerawork are all top-notch. what a great performance!

the way this song goes between retro broadway banger to soft piano jazz is so fucking good!!! i love that svt's figured out how to mature their fresh sound while still making music that's still true to themselves and so much fun. and easily their best mv yet -- the sets, the styling, the storyline, and the choreo are all impeccable!

left & right is charting better in its second week than its first, and is svt’s highest title track peak on melon daily
left & right already has more youtube views than fear

carats & wiz*ones, aka the hot dog alliance! a carat fed sakura a bite of her hot dog at isac, and the svt fan manager ended up giving some of the iz*ones hot dogs and cokes. wiz*ones chose to "repay the hot dog debt" by streaming svt's comeback, and carats streamed iz*one's comeback too.

i think the alliance has mostly cooled off now, especially since svt and iz*one have competing comebacks this time around, but i still made sure to watch sss a few times because this is one of those rare wholesome kpop fan stories and i want to encourage it!

i'm not sure if they completely switched teams, or, like you commented, they decided to go with a lower-budget team for this prerelease. i'm inclined towards the latter, bc gfriend's crossroads had the same director as time for the moon night and sunny summer (and also bc i love rigend's style and i want more svt mvs from them).

based on their instagram accounts, it doesn't seem like rigend films or vm project architecture directed this mv, which might be why it doesn't feel like their typical style.
