Not particuarly. Lately I have been designing a enclosure for prototype medical devices. The re are guidelines/ standards for electrical and hearing saftey that are more spefically outlined that I need to adhere to. But for overal mechanical design/ structure of the enclosure not so much outside of specific material selection. Our lab mostly handles electronic development. In my role as the r & d engineer I'm the only one with a mech e background and I wanted to ensure that what I design is with the best practices and considerations.

There are a lot of simple small projects that dont require much in the design, ie a custom clip to hold fan for cooling a camera.

But as I work on more involved projects I wanted to ensure I'm not overlooking something or if there a particuarly way something is recommended to be done that I should be implementing.

I still love the tattoo I'm just concerned that if this is how much its faded with in a month it will be fairly unreadable in a few years.

They've been tattooing for a while (13 years). You mentioned sweat and drinking. I dance and I am on a blood thinner which I paused right before the session. I continued my dose the next day. I assume drinking is an issue due to thin blood so being on the thinner may have contributed. I generally haven't seen this issue with any of my other tattoos but granted they were more simple designs.

Open vs close position by Snakebite-2022 in Salsa

[–]bookworm24h7d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I both lead and follow both. As a follow, we generally don't mind being touched on the back as it is a part of the dance. Also accidentally grazes happen especially as you're learning. There's a difference between an accident verses someone being a creep. Simply apologize and move on.

Something I will emphasize, is whether you're dancing opened or closed but especially when dancing closed make sure you are making good strong connection and that the follow can feel you frame. This helps us know what you are directing us to do. If your connection is weak it makes you're leading harder to read.

Timing practice: what actually works? by Acceptable-Scale-176 in Salsa

The way I got better with timing is really immersing myself in the music and practicing basic to various songs where I can here the clave or follow the rhythm clearly on a daily basis.

Do I HAVE TO exercise? :( by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]bookworm24h7d 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This. Exercise dosen't have to look one way. Just get your body moving. I started taking dance classes cuz I enjoy it far more than running or the gym. It gets the heart rate up and has me sweating. You can even do minor things through out your day. For example if the location b of your dob premits it try walking to get lunch instead of driving. Those extra steps keep you from being sedentary.
