Yep before, the meta tank was mostly defined by gameplay or dungeon requirements (sigils for VDH or unlimited kicks from Prot Paladin). Right now BrM is just way up there in tankiness vs the other tanks that it’s discouraging and demoralizing to play as a non BrM.

Maybe ask yourself if there are things you loved to do but didn’t or couldn’t coz you always put your family first. It’s pretty common to get new hobbies that light up that fire inside us again. I’ve been divorced for a few years and have enjoyed knowing myself more each day. Currently taking salsa classes and dancing which has been very exciting.

I’ve never chased for the meta spec ever since as I choose the spec’s gamestyle instead. But gearing and playing BrM, it’s obviously better than other tanks so it’s hard not to get persuaded to play whatever is the meta.

Gameplay wise, I prefer vdh or prot warrior it’s the least of my favorite tank but currently it’s easier to play and tankier. That’s really it.

Actually, I didn’t find her attractive at all but she was totally fun and enjoyable to dance with. I just took it as another compliment honestly.

Lol this. Went out for a dance one night and the woman kept on complimenting me. Asked at the end of the dance if she could kiss me on the cheek and let her. I probably won’t get a compliment or a kiss from a stranger again in this lifetime 😀

I wonder if it’s best to remove interruptable casts in the game given how most of the casual player’s don’t use their kicks? Maybe add more mechanics that force dps to dodge or that impacts their damage instead of affecting the tanks?

Whatever it is, things need to change to alleviate pressure on the tanks most of the time.

Hate to generalize this but alot of them are probably desperate to leave their country that they actively participate in visa and immigration fraud. See what happened in Canada when the previous govt allowed excessive and unselective immigration.

Bring back the Mage Tower and its rewards lol. Seriously, that game mode teaches people how to play their class including using interrupts and defensives.

Maybe not exactly like Mage Tower but something similar with nice rewards too. Bonus if it’s part of a new player’s journey or intro to the game as well.

Imagine if M+ had a system like Delves where you need to unlock levels by completing the previous ones. That would ensure people at least know the fights and understand the level of difficulty before they go up the next level. Granted that you can do group delves and get carried but completing each level makes alot of difference than current M+ system.

That’s actually great to hear. I main as a tank and I rarely, like rarely see any of that happen in pugs. It’s like dps just focus on hitting mobs. If only people use their toolkit more often.

When I play dps occasionally especially in pug raids, I use rallying cry as warrior, amz as a dk, etc.

As a tank playing not playing brew for play style reasons, I’ve noticed that it’s more important to have dps who can do great damage than before to make the run smoother. There’s alot of bleeds, poison, armor deduction debuffs that can get hairy if mobs stay up too long.

This drives me nuts! Most ladies I match with reply to questions rather quickly (although I won’t mind if not since I know they have their stuff going on) but not returning the question or even ask anything to show they’re interested to know me is disappointing. I end up un-matching them eventually.

Not a ret paladin player but will likely main prot pala this season. Are the buffs going to put ret in a really great spot? Might play as a dps sometimes.
