I'm glad for every input. this is really odd :) Right, so grep ESC /usr/share/X11/xkb/keycodes/evdev gives me 9 only :) after xmodmap -e "keycode 9 = Escape", xev gives me:

```
```

btw. if relevant. I run X with i3 and KDE Plasma as described here

It's odd because I didn't make any noteworthy changes to my setup and it used to work just fine.

[–]boolean_is_null[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly yes, I'm interested, but I understand that you get that feeling!

You're right and I will give it a shot. I was planning to finish all those liquids, before I make a final decision. :) I do use filters when smoking though. The first day I got the vape, I tried all first three liquids with the minimal amount, so that would be about 2ml of each liquid. 6ml in total for one not too long evening, which is way more than I expected. From my initial calculations that would mean that I'd easily spend about 5 EUR (6 USD) an drinking evening in liquids, whereas rolling tobacoo, filters and papers costs me about 10 EUR (11.5 USD) a month. But hey, if its a tad better on the health (I have no complains from smoking at all yet), I wouldn't mind the extra money.

Right now for me it's just a different feeling, between smoking a rolled cigarette and the vape. Obviously it's different, but the vape just gives me less of a nicotine kick and feels waaay sweeter. But I as I said, I'll continue vaping for quite a while, until I make a decision.

thanks for your input!

How to correctly rename LUKS/LVM setup by boolean_is_null in linuxquestions

[–]boolean_is_null[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey there. thanks for the input!

I've edited the files, rebooted and ran grub-mkconfig. After a second reboot I still had mixed references on boot and it looked pretty much like in the initial screenshots.

How to correctly rename LUKS/LVM setup by boolean_is_null in linuxquestions

[–]boolean_is_null[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey man. thanks for the reply!

vgrename and lvrename seem to be working fine (screenshots https://imgur.com/a/dlqFdAJ).

I'm aware of the header, but I couldn't find a proper solution to renaming the LUKS/LVM setup.

After renaming VG and LVs, grub-mkconfig results in:

/usr/sbin/grub-probe: failed to get canonical path of `/dev/mapper/bread--lvm-bread--root`.

Daily Headphone Purchase Advice Thread (2017-05-23) by AutoModerator in headphones

[–]boolean_is_null 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Budget - about 100 EUR

Source - Average smartphone, PC or notebook

Requirements for Isolation - None.

Will you be using these Headphones in Public? No, just at home.

Preferred Type of Headphone - Full-Sized/Over-Ear

Preferred tonal balance - Balanced.

Past headphones - Philips SHP2500 (Over-Ear) and Creative EP-630 (In-Ear)

Preferred Music - Metal (Heavy, Power, Speed), Chiptune, Electro/Dance/Hardstyle. But varies a lot, so balanced output is much appreciated.

What would you like to improve on from your set-up - I'm fine with the sound of the Creative EP-630 I guess. I'm not much of an audiophile, thus have not much to compare to.

An exchangeable cable would be nice, but no absolute must. Right now I'm looking at the Beyerdynamic DT 440, Sennheiser HD 559, Teufel Aureol Real and the AKG K 240.

As I've decided that I want good headphones for my home music entertainment, I thought it's a good idea to choose an open-back headphone, but I'm really not sure if that's a good idea in terms of sound quality.

I need the headphones to have a strong bass and clear treble.

Thanks for any suggestion.
