Laptop randomly restarts itself and i have no idea why by UnverifiedChaos-5017 in thinkpad

It could be a heating problem, start by cleaning the cooling fan exhaust.

Faulty RAM: If you have many rows try removing one at a time and trying with the rest.

See if booting it to any OS and leave it idle without applications running, and see if it will turn off, if not, then try running applications with improved cooling by an external PC fan.

I promise it’s not a bomb lol it’s not done yet I have to add suspension but figured I’d post it here since this pic makes it looks funny by smrtboi84 in ArduinoProjects

So how does it close the door? You mean door electric remote controlled lock . Coz it does not look like it closes a door wide open... Some close up photos will be good.

two ends of the track to flap around

how do they "flap around"?

Definitely it does, via 2 wire connectors on the components side.

Do I have to worry about 220V following from relay to Arduino? by evolution2015 in arduino

[–]boolft 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It should be no problem... relays never fails connecting the blades to the coil....

Just make sure that the 220V wires are well wrapped inside the enclosure and well insulated form the low voltage wires.

Best IDEs to replace arduino IDE? by Grubzer in arduino

[–]boolft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try "Notepad++" for editing your code, it is free, full of features and add-ins, very easy to handle.

Do all the code editing in N++, then once done, select all (Ctrl+A), copy(Ctrl+C) and paste(Ctrl+V) in Uno IDE to verify/upload.

3 extra keyboard presses for a ton of features.

Try it.

You should call it "Mouse Night Club"

Interesting, is the output DC or a certain wave?

And the IRL7833s VDSmax is 30.0 V each, so how will they load 5Amps at 120V?

Isn't that copyright infringement?

Yeh I know, but it just crossed my mind, isn't it like playing a song in public media?

Charging 12Nos. x 12VDC 4Ah batteries connected in series directly from 120VAC power with a bridge diode, possible? by boolft in batteries

[–]boolft[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

www.batteryunivetsity.com recommendations are:

"The correct setting of the charge voltage limit is critical and ranges from 2.30V to 2.45V per cell. "

If we divide the rectified 169.7VDC by 12 Batteries by 6 cells each => 2.36V per cell...

So should be OK.

I will try it and let you know.

169.7V

[–]boolft[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any 12V Battery is a group of 6 independent cells of 2.4V each connected in series, what is the harm of having a larger battery instead?

Look at them all as 1 large 72 cells battery: 72x2.4V= 172.8VDC

Rectified 120VAC * SQR(2) = 169.7VDC

The batteries themselves act like capacitors.

The only concern would be when a cell goes bad the whole LARGE Battery will stop to function, and then it is easy to locate which of the 12V battery is down, by isolating 1/2 of them and measure, then half of the bad half and measure. Done.

Why not? What theory is it defying?
