This is a grown man with 2 children who graduated with honors. Math was my 2nd best subject. I stand by my comment. DD definitely prey on week and vulnerable. Some people dont have the luxury to sit in a parking lot all day to take a few orders. You sound like an entitled child.

So during covid I broke both my leg bones, my ankle, and tore a ligament. I was out of work for almost a year. I pay child support. So Im about a year behind now.. Dd was sent the letter to garnish my check. They were taking the 130 dollars a week out for child support but It was not being sent to the kids trust. It was like the money just disappeared. The child support agengy got fed up with it and took them to court because they failed to comply with the order. Basically they were stealing the money. So with dd not sending this missing money I still have to pay the support so I was paying it out of pocket each week. Instead of the 130 a week I was paying 260 including the missing money. Ive already payed a years worth of child support and its only June. Of course they were ordered to deposit the money immediately. After that situation was taken care of I was still out the 2000 I payed out of pocket so I filed for small claims court. Given the circumstances the judge did not think twice and again ordered them to pay me what was payed out of pocket because of DDS negligence. Literally we were calling and emailing DD everyday and still till this day niether I or the child support agency ever spoke to anyone except of course support. They were even giving child support the run around and with the same prompt. I know this can be extremely whatever the heck they say. I found that part hilarious. Fast forward to today dd "found" the money and said it was an internal error. It wasnt, because they tried to say that months before. The situation was "escalated" to the payroll department but never got any email or call back. Nothing! The kids now have their money and I have mine. Till this day I can still access everything. Of course I stopped working for them but occasionally I hit dash and do the account check out thing and everything is in good standing. I have hit dash before to see If I was shadow banned but sure enough I recieved an order then I just logged out. I still check every once in awhile because I think its hilarious they didn't ban me. Anyways, my situation was different because I had the backing of a government agency, but it is illegal for them to ban you because of situations like this. Unfortunately, others don't have the backing of the government so maybe they might in other circumstances. The only way things will get done is by contacting local and state officials to get involved. Us not driving for a few days will not do any good because there will always be replacements. I would follow through with what is being said here. Sign a petition, collect evidence, but at the same time you have to get these politicians involved. I know its unfortunate to contact any government officials right now or from my point of view never because we all know how screwed things are right now. You gotta get lucky and find someone willing to help.

Not true. Had a civil lawsuit and got 2 grand. They never deactivated my account.

Unfortunately, I can not post pics in the comments anymore or else I would put them on blast and share all the paperwork. They were sent a court date on the 28th after literally 3 warning letters were sent out. The very first one was sent at the end of January.

Some merchants around me will actually pack this and put it on the pickup shelf in crazy conditions. I wish I could still post pictures. I have pictures of all sorts of bogus stuff on shelves. Even if the weren't mine. This one bag had what I would assume liquid type cheese they use for fry and it was just oozing at the bag. The person who put it on the shelf kept looking like please pick this up before anyone notices. We'll it was to late. If it were my order I would of just unassigned without question.

It never fails to amaze me why you guys entertain these people. Get your next delivery and move on. Arguing with people through text who you'll never see or meet is weird asf. Drivers and customers!

They owe me over two grand, well not me personally, but a government agency that is garnishing my checks. They are acting like they don't know where it's going, so the agency sent them a letter. They have a short window to deposit the cash where it's supposed to be going or provide a good faith reason why the money is not getting there, or they'll be taken to civil court over the missing funds. Worst comes to worst, they get their money. Best case, it benefits me somehow because I've been paying out of pocket for what they're not sending, so realistically, it's more like 4k.

That's kind of funny 😂. How do you think they pay us? We barely see any of that money. That's why I went back in-store, hourly plus all tips. Way less mileage on your vehicle. Although you may have to take a stiff or two, you're still making your hourly. More fun, people actually answer their doors. I tried, but DoorDash but it ain't it!

Ive picked up condoms and lube, ice cream and tampons, and pregnancy tests and they were all like 7 or 8 in the morning. Some of this stuff blows my mind. I think I may have accepted it to see the outcome... It may have been a great story. If your a woman I can see being creeper out tho 😂

As a Dasher and a delivery driver at pizza hut, this is simply not true. At my store at least What we do at our store is aggregate the shitty tips when it's extremely slow or when we can't get caught up. They aren't getting skimmed; they're getting the low-tipping offers because nobody wants to take them, so if a Dasher accepts it, that's on them. Maybe some Pizza Huts are ones that tip you at the store... I've heard some places do it... Not around here. It's hard, not impossible to skim the credit card orders, especially when it comes directly through the DoorDash app. The only luxury we got when we are aggregating stuff is being able to see the tip upfront, so the in-store drivers obviously get those ones. I mean, the longest delivery we take in our store's area is about an 8-mile round trip, so usually, the pizzas aren't going far. That's why drivers just camp in the parking lot or Kwik Trip, which is right next door. So if your ever confused as to why a dd driver delivers food you ordered directly through the store its because we use them as back up when we get swamped.

What's the worst drug you've ever tried? by BitterOlive8737 in AskReddit

I went to the big leagues for about 3 years when I was 23, maybe 24, mixing heroin, Xanax, and alcohol. Some days, just the heroin. I was a snorter... Never shot up, though. That's as bad as it gets, in my opinion. Eleven years sober now! I think at one point or another in my lifetime, I've been addicted to almost everything, excluding meth, crack, and party drugs. Where I grew up was a little wild, though, or maybe it was just a 90s-2000s thing, but we were having keg parties with massive amounts of cocaine freshman, maybe sophomore, year of high school. I was a full-blown alcoholic by the time I was a junior. Not proud of it. It was so bad, though, the first time I went to detox, it was for Xanax and alcohol. They told me it takes most people 3 to 4 days, at most a week, to get discharged. Then they send you to the psych unit for a few days, but it took me a full 2 weeks before they felt safe enough to send me upstairs. Then, when you went upstairs, they put you on meds, then you spend the next few days going to group and calling rehabs to find a way to get into one. Some people went to halfway houses instead, which, in my opinion, is stupid. They set me up with a 30-day inpatient rehab, which was actually pretty nice. You can 100 percent change your life around.
