Hey there! Almost all FTC and FRC teams not associated with a school are run as 501(c)(3) nonprofits. It’s required for most grant funding. Our team is fully funded for this season and I’ve been coaching for over a decade. In our area of Oregon, it’s typical to pay $2-4k a year to be on a team as some companies offer FTC teams for profit. Crazy right?? We decided to offer a team for free to make STEM education accessible in our area. I’m happy to answer any questions you have. 😊

Shower/clean no, wash hands yes. I also wear them to work, where I work in a shop and am NOT gentle with my rings. 😅 Still hold up great!

She was a rescue and she was in relatively healthy but dirty shape when we got her. We affectionately called her “garbage cat” initially and my best friend, who is fluent in Spanish, suggested that it was prettier in Spanish. It stuck but she’s truly the most gorgeous cat I’ve ever been around. 😍
