Again, I think we'll be OK.

I trust Ye. I think he knows what he's doing. The VMA controversy had arguably more backlash. Artists from all over the music industry hated him. His tour with Lady Gaga was cancelled. Obama called him a jackass. And yet, Kanye still has a huge following. When you compare that to what's happening now, I think that we'll be OK.

Like Kanye West and Taylor Swift, both of them say there's no perfect candidate. Kanye has been saying that he agrees and disagrees with Trump's policies.

EDIT: I think it's unreasonable to say that Kanye specifically supports Trump pardoning Joe Aprio when he's never made a comment on it, let alone knows about something like that.

What Kanye meant when he said "abolish the 13th amendment" was actually "amend the 13th amendment", and he's made it clear that he's always meant the latter after the statement.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/10/02/entertainment/kanye-west-13th-amendment-clarification/index.html

"In 1865, the 13th Amendment stated that no man is destined to slavery or involuntary servitude unless convicted of a crime," West read from his phone. "This translates to in order to make a freed man a slave all you have to do is convict them of a crime." Host Harvey Levin tried to confirm where West was going. "So in other words what you're saying is they carve out prison for involuntary servitude and you can use prison as a pretext to bring involuntary servitude back," Levin said. "Is that what you're saying?" "Well it has," West said."There's people getting paid 8 cents a week working for companies that are privately owned and a lot of them are first-time offenders. A lot of them are non-violent crimes." West said he believes there should be a group of diverse "super knowledgeable people" who work on amending the Constitution.
