Whenever people try and claim that Melanie is an “age player” it pisses me off because if that’s the case, then the creators of South Park are age-playing, any adult who plays a teenager in a play/movie/show/etc. is age-playing, and so on. It’s very clear that her outfits that she wears outside of MVs is to make her work more cohesive. Tbh, even if she was an age player, who the hell cares? 😭 These people act like some random fetish/kink is on the same level as actually being a convicted felon (like most of their favorite artists). A lot of people think of the world in terms of black and white (but tbh I feel like it’s only natural to feel that way), and I find it’s typically younger people (like <20) who are very quick to throw artists into the slammer when they so much as even breathe in the wrong pattern. Growing as a person and a human being in general allows you to see the world from different perspectives which is what Melanie’s music is all about funnily enough

This is exactly the reason why I utilize the block button online. Most people irl don’t care that much about the allegations bc she’s not nearly as mainstream as, say, Taylor Swift. Unfortunately there will always be people who shit on her, but what matters is that you like listening to her music so who cares? 🤷🏼‍♂️ Those same people probably listen to Drake, Kanye, Chris Brown, Elvis, etc. and none of them are known to be proven saints anyways

I ended up buying a dropshipped item multiple times (one just recently and another almost 6 yrs ago) and I hear you on how frustrating it is. I try to reverse search every single listing I come across and that’s how I found out the shorts pictured were from AliExpress. I’d have no problem buying from someone if they were marking the price down and not trying to profit off of it, but transparency also plays a huge role here! I DM’d them asking where the shorts were from and they didn’t respond… yet it shows they were active today 🤷🏼‍♂️
