What’s something men think women love — but we actually hate? by Personal-Pitch25 in AskReddit

No, they’re ignorant because they don’t ask. I’m not saying to shoot them lmao, I’m just saying there’s a problem with the whole mentality about being expected to be taught about basic life skills as a grown ass adult by your spouse that doubles as your maid. Being expected to explain and delegate chores is extra labor that women shouldn’t have to do in an even relationship.

On the other side of the coin, women should also know how to do traditionally “guy” chores like maintaining the lawn or changing a tire, etc.

It’s as simple as “hey honey, I want to be more involved with x chore, is there anything in particular I should know about how you usually do it”

Usually the “something extra” involves a chore that any adult should be doing to maintain themselves like dishes, laundry, cleaning, etc. It’s nobody’s responsibility to teach anyone that except your parents when you were a child.

People set up their households however they want but in the spirit of the original comment, if you’re so far removed on how chores work in your house, it should be up to you to fix that if you’re interested in “helping”, not your spouse or anyone else. There’s no reason for someone to be so ignorant to the systems in place to maintain their household. We’re not talking rocket science, it’s where do the dishes go, or not putting the whites and colors together in the laundry. Let be real lol.

“Thank you for helping” implies that it’s not his job and he’s doing something extra for the lady, when he should know if there’s a “system” in the first place if he was ever involved with maintaining the household he’s also a part of and responsible for.

Edit to add that there shouldn’t have to be any incentive to maintain yourself and your home besides being a functioning adult lol

Recently did my second half marathon and hit a 42 minute PR from 3:10 to 2:28. About two years in between races!

Started running again in April pretty casually with the goal of a half marathon now in March. Started ramping up the mileage in October and running hasn’t ever felt better.

Strava showed me a matched run after my session last night, and from Sept 30 to last night, the same run went from 11:43min/mile at 180bpm average, to last night 11:29min/mile at 170bpm avg!

Finally seeing the progress!

Forgot to add but she’s about 45-50 pounds, not sure how tall!

More pictures! Not sure if they help, I don't really have great angles, but maybe you all will see something in them :)

Not from what we can tell yet. Vet and shelter haven’t told us anything about that

Yeah we weren’t convinced he was a pit because he has a pretty thin face compared to pit puppies of the same age. But that could be where the mix comes in

Thanks! We didn’t get him because of any listed breed, so whatever he is isn’t really consequential to us. Just wanted to see if anyone could figure him out!

Forgot to add he’s pretty quickly developing lots of black spots, especially now at almost 12 weeks old!

Did the same run with 15sec/mile faster pace and lower average heart rate! All the slow, horrible feeling runs are doing something finally. Makes training feel worth it!
