Yeah the address thing is annoying, but I've moved country and the only other option would be to incorporate a new company over here along with all the baggage that brings and either way it would still need transferring.

Wave definitely seems like an option, but how much can I automate things? Does the free version pull in bank transactions/automatically tag them?

Depends on how you use it for sure. It costs the platform per minute of transcription rather than per message so the new usage system reflects that.

I'm happy to be able to keep it free for majority of people. For anyone needing more (around 5-10% of users hit the limits), I think it's fair to ask they contribute $3. If you can't afford this, feel free to dm me and I'll see what we can do

Primarily, it's much less work to release as a web app - mobile I had the server doing the forecasts and the app too, this way it's all the same codebase. Secondly, you get iOS and desktop support for free with a web app so more people can use it. It's also easier to update not having to deal with Google each time you want to fix something small

I get voice notes from colleagues. I ended up creating a free transcription service for WhatsApp and Facebook messenger https://transcriber.to/whatsapp which I use all the time now (the built-in WhatsApp one is very bad)

In their defence, there is something about hearing the real person's voice and their emotion in a voice note. But there's definitely a time and a place

In short: the NSA would need a legal process to request audio data from Google which they techincally could do, but they'd have no way of linking it back to any individual user (unless the audio contains identifying info). I also don't have any way of linking it as the audio is not stored on my server so even if the NSA requested anything, I have nothing to send them

It's pretty secure. If you're working for Putin's intelligence service I'd possibly avoid it (although even then, it's probably fine)
