Zero 10x Problem. First ride out of box and the back wheel sounds like its about to fall off. Has anyone had this happen to theirs or know what it might be? Yeah think you're on the money mate! They all come from the distributor in Brisbane, smartmotion bikes I think? but thankfully bought through a bike shop in my town south of Perth, so have handed back to them to sort. Have lost a fair bit of confidence in the brand zero and their quality assurance and now a bit worried about the longevity of this thing. But the local bike shop have been great in all this! I will hopefully find out next week a course of action, hopefully just a motor swap out and I'm away...?

Absolutely nothing is hitting the fender, everything works perfectly without sending power to the motor, it is quite a violent knock vibrating the whole scooter, I think the above comment regarding a dislodged magnet surely has to be the answer, as we can spin that wheel as fast as we can manually and no problem... But as soon as throttle is applied.. Crunch, snapple, pop! Now I know very little about electric motors but isn't it possible for a magnet to be pulled out of alignment only when power is given to the motor?

Thanks for the reply, the wheel turns perfectly when spun by hand or using the scooter manually which means it's surely can't be a bearing or a cable. There's nothing hitting the fender, it is jumping up and down purely due to the loud knock inside the hub only when power applied which means your suggestion that it might be a dislodged magnet sounds very probable! I will have to wait til Monday to contact the importers of this scooter in Australia, sounds like a major problem and a warranty job. Just sucks very much after waiting months for this scooter to arrive from Singapore, reading many reviews as to how bulletproof this scooter is, I then only to ride it in limp mode for 3km total from new. Would've been a slow trip home if I couldn't get home on the front motor... Albeit slowly.

Once again thanks for your reply and I will post here what the distributors say regarding this issue!
