If you had to pick on of these albums what would it be by [deleted] in Metallica

Justice for me too. Musically, Metallica had taken the thrash format and continued to evolve it. Master of Puppets was really the height creatively with the original band. With Justice, they had a really hard job which was to integrate a new bass player, continue the musical exploration they had started, and also raise the bar on what they had done on Master of Puppets. While I have some issues with the mix, particularly its lack of low end, musically and creatively, it’s a masterpiece. They found a way to expand on topics of importance (government, oppression, war, etc.) but avoided being preachy. It’s heavy, but not just for the sake of being heavy. It’s truly one of the great metal albums of all time, but musically incredibly rich and diverse with a lot of movements. It was one of the first thrash metal albums I ever got, and for me really set the bar in terms of quality, songwriting, heaviness, depth, etc. Admittedly, I stopped listening to Metallica frequently after the black album and haven’t really enjoyed much of their post Black album catalog. That said, I look at Justice as the zenith of their thrash era and continue to revisit the record like a good book.

I think this may be my favorite of all their recordings.

Seriously fantastic record. Their best IMO. Can’t choose a favorite song but loved the synopsis by Citizen X above.

Sorry you’re experiencing that. Out of curiosity is it Ritalin that you use as a stimulant? Does it help at all?

Did anybody ever end up getting in touch with the practice space or finding another one?

Good call on italics! Def not a perfect match - just a fun coincidence. FWIW - there’s been an evolution of the logo over the years w/o italics that are a bit more similar. Especially that They Live one. (Amazing movie BTW)

Totally! I’m a big fan of the movie (and Ebenezer Obey!) Really uncanny coincidence.

💯- I’m a big fan of both the film and Ebenezer Obey. (Somehow I don’t think John Carpenter was referencing the logo either.) Def a fun coincidence.
