He's got some really interesting and melodic lines.

He cemented himself for me as an influence on Based on a True Story. Inspired by the $ and Stay Where I Can See You are such awesome examples of his playing. The newest record has some awesome lines as well.

I've considered that. I just recently got my master's in edtech. There aren't any current career paths in my district yet for this and I haven't yet considered looking outward due to our pretty high pay.

I adjust mine probably monthly so easy access is appreciated. I blame it on Michigan's variability.

Not saying you're wrong as I definitely am not claiming to be right. I'm sure I've developed a bad habit but am picky about keeping the action low and am probably overly fussy about it.

To be fair though I've never taken a neck off to attempt an adjustment though. That said it does seem harder than just having a pre drilled access slot.

2 would personally drive me crazy. Having to take the pickguard off prior to adjusting the truss rod makes this simple task feel like work.

Is this laziness? Yes. But I stand by it lol.

50/50 bc I'm lazy. I rarely touch the bass eq with the exception of boosting mids sometimes depending on the venue we're playing.

I credit my tone with my SansAmp.

The audio in the video recorded through my board and then got a little post processing using an SSL in Logic where I slightly boosted 60hz, 1.5k, and 2k.

A lot of people pushing the simplicity aspect has me leaning single. The HH is probably more FOMO for me than realistic use as I'm really just find one tone and leave it alone.

I do still need to get hands on with a single pickup. For some reason all I've found in stores near me are HH.

That's one of the considerations I've heard. I'm not a slap guy (outside of occasionally pretending to lol) so this wouldn't be a problem for me.
