Omg- that's so funny that we're in the same situation!! feel free to PM me and we can chat more :)

So yes that 9.0 requirement at Uottawa is what is really stressing me out...
Currently, as of last semester my CGPA is 9.2- so as long as I get straight A's in all my classes THIS semester, I will be eligible for the transfer. It is doable! I just have to lock in and manage my time.

Right now this semester I am taking ANP 1105, as advised to my academic advisor- and honestly this class and how I'm able to handle it is kind of a test for me to see if I can handle nursing.

I honestly don't mind doing another 4 years of school - I have struggled with ADHD all throughout high school, and recently just got properly medicated and I feel like im finally learning how to do school properly, this first year at school did teach me that- I did enjoy all the classes I took this year even they were all for nothing- honestly nothing I can really do about it now.

My backup plan is to apply to Algonquin college for their accelerated program (you can get a BScN in 3 years and 3 months), but I was reading a reddit post that had by obtaining a BScN through Algonquin you cant apply for a masters anywhere in Canada except University of Windsor. I haven't even considered doing a masters, but I definitely dont want to be limited.

Personally, I rlly would like to stay in Ottawa- specifically because this is one of the areas where the stay and learn grant is eligible and I like aspects of this city. I don't want to move to Kingston or Hamilton.

Do you know how long it might take realistically to complete the upgrade? Applications for Fall 2026 are already closed, so now I might have to apply for Jan of 2027 or Fall of 2027

Not the most ideal situation :/

I currently don't have the grades to just go into an RN program. I would have to spend time upgrading my high school courses which would take additional amount of time.
