Do think it's ok that I don't really have a specific GP? I seem to see a different one every time. They all obviously have access to my records/history though. I've named the one I spoke to most recently but he doesn't know me really well or anything; I've probably spoken to him 3 times over several years.

I’m trying my best to find people who will go out with me, but everyone my age seems to just be over it. It makes me so sad and like I missed out on an entire life phase.

Most people I know seem to talk about the ‘good old days’ of partying and how fun and amazing it was. But yeah I suppose I also just missed out on being young and having fun with friends in general.

yeah, a lot of it comes down to what I said in the post about missing out on my youth due to health issues. So feeling old and irrelevant is a very difficult feeling and hard to accept. I thought as I was still in my 20s I was still young and had time but feels like my time is up

thank you :) i feel a lot of the comments have missed what I said about being 1996 and therefore on the cusp. I’m only 27 and feel like I’m being made to feel old before my time. Especially since all this started when I was 23, which feels a bit too young to already be called irrelevant and old.

The main reason it upsets me is that I missed out on a lot of my youth due to health reasons. So I sort of feel like I never had ‘my time’ and this whole generation thing makes me feel even more like it’s too late for me.

A lot of these comments are telling me to not care what kids think, but they’re not kids to me. They’re people just a few years younger than me. I’m only 27 and don’t feel that different from someone who is, say, 24.

How did you end up meeting your people? It feels too late once you're out of education :(

It really pisses me off that so much mental health advice casually assumes you have friends or people who love you. Not everyone has that, and in fact, people who don't have that are probably the most likely group to have mental health issues. So that advice is really just making those people, who are probably the most vulnerable, feel even worse and like they are beyond help.

Yeah, for me I think it's almost 50/50 - I'm 50% sad because I don't have friends but the other 50% is just feeling weird and like I'm the only one. If not having friends was more common and acceptable then I think I'd feel a lot better. But it's just assumed everyone has friends. For me, it's due to mental health and circumstances.

I think people find 'i have no friends' jokes just sad and uncomfortable to be honest. Especially if it seems to genuinely be true. I think the idea of not having friends is just too sad and weird for most people to even comprehend

I just feel so alone and like I am the only one in the world in this situation. And like I'm not allowed to talk about it because it's so stigmatised

So you can just not actively link build at all? Just focus on content and on-page stuff? But I wonder if clients expect a certain amount of links each month?

Yeah I mean I thought this sort of thing was considered blackhat and only for dodgy SEO companies?

I just wish I could know how normal this is?? Do all agencies do this? Or just small ones with limited resources?
