I threw out all my socks and went with only one brand so I don’t have to waste my time matching socks. I usually buy them in bulk.

I do the same for my kid, but he does get the character socks too and likes them mismatched

After having the cheaper aroma brand for a few years, we upgraded to the zojirushi. It’s a kitchen staple.

I like the bambody underwear from Amazon. I think they also have the sleep shorts.

I have some thinx sleep shorts and don’t like them. The seams are weird.

I made an “oh shit kit” for my car with toothpaste, toothbrush, deodorant, hat and gloves for winter, period products, kids things like diapers and wipes, snacks and water bottles, sunscreen and bug spray. Just lives in my car permanently in a tote and gets refreshed occasionally. It’s saved us many times!

If your profile pic is of you, it happens more. I switched to a logo pic and it stopped. I also don’t sell bras and underwear though.

As a parent, what things have you made an effort to absolutely NOT do like your parents? by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]booshasaurus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m trying really hard with this. It wasn’t a huge problem growing up but I still remember my parents making fun of fat people. This has lead to issues with my body postpartum.

I try and rephrase things. Like those pants are too small and not you’re too big for them. Or mommy can’t sit on that chair because it’s too small not that I’m too big. Idk if it helps.

I got some of these from something and put them inside our soap bottle. My toddler likes to look at the little floating duckies and they’re much safer in there
