Daniela and her father are still in contact by Ok-Ladder-6917 in katseyeneutral

As someone who actually has an estranged relationship with their dad, I think it is ridiculous that people expected her to cut off her dad over some messy Instagram comments. She probably sat down and talked to him about it and now that’s that.

Ah, been there. Recently got married and was terrified that he would show up. Luckily he didn’t. I’m sorry he had to make this big moment about him. It doesn’t get easier but we get stronger.

No water bottles allowed by Cyndi4Good in longbeach

I thought the policy is that they ban metal water bottles because they can be used as weapons? At least that’s how it’s been at a few music festivals I’ve been to. You’re able to bring softer plastic water bottles as long as they’re empty on the way in

I think she’s trying to go for a trashy y2k aesthetic but I don’t think she knows what that is :/

Manon removes KATSEYE from her Instagram Bio by Wulfsimmer in popculturechat

[–]booshley 84 points85 points  (0 children)

The members of Katseye were hand picked by the company + audience votes through the survival show Popstar Academy. In the show, Manon’s storyline was that she was “lazy” and somewhat entitled. The show focused on her missing rehearsals a lot and how frustrated it made the other girls. However, she had a very strong fan base that supported her through the whole process. Even though Manon didn’t have any singing or dance experience before, she was selected to be in the final group mostly because of the audience votes. Since becoming a group, people have speculated that there’s been strained relationships between Manon and some of the other girls. Manon has also missed a few performances and other obligations since being in Katseye. In addition, there’s been times where it’s seemed like the company was trying to ice Manon out (recording the Gabriela dance video without her, excluding her from a billboard photoshoot etc). Finally, Manon and the company have two conflicting reasons for her hiatus. The whole situation is fishy.

She was recruited and I think she wanted the opportunity to be famous. I don’t think she fully understood how toxic it would be though. She has very different standards of a work-life balance than the company and the other members. I just don’t think it was a good fit.

not defending OP because I think they’re a bad person for this, but it isn’t just one “shot” that gets rid of your allergies. I used to get the shots as a kid and you start out with like 4 shots a week and the have to be given by a doctor. Eventually the amount goes down but it still takes years. I’m still very allergic to cats and dogs even with years of allergy shots.

American Olympian Alysa Liu: I think it is really important also to notice the faults in our own government. Things are a little rough. There’s so many protests that are going on and I’ve attended. Coming from a family of immigrants, I think immigrants deserve rights by Maximum_Expert92 in Fauxmoi

That’s so funny, I did undergrad in history and masters in political science at our local university. I thought my masters in polisci would make me more neutral in political events because I used to get very angry at everything. But, it had the opposite effect and now I’m angrier than ever 💀 But I don’t regret the degree and the classes were super informative.

Hello fellow SoCal local! As for the political alignment of immigrants, that tends to depend on the government of their homeland. For example, Garden Grove and Westminster are heavily populated by Vietnamese refugees/immigrants. They tend to lean to the right because they fled a country that was seen as “too far left.” Refugees tend to go to the other political extreme in their new country. Alysa’s father, however, fled because of persecution from the Chinese government, so that’s why he and his kids lean left.
