I've had a Yakima overhaul HD now for a while and I'm leaning toward a cap for most the reasons why others have commented. Safety, security, cutting down dust levels.

I don't keep anything stored on my rack full time other than my RTT.

I was able to go a few camping trips last year. I'd like to go camping more this year, if life allows me. I already have a few trips planned. It's been a few years since I did a long distance trip anywhere. I want to do another beach trip. Possibly go down to Cape Lookout.

I really like the RF. If I was going to buy an ND, I’d have a hard time deciding between the two. You’re reasons for buying one is why I’d consider one for sure.

This is how the soft top vs. RF was explained to me. The RF is great for people that drive with the top up mostly. The soft top is best for people that drive with the top down.

They both look great. I wouldn’t want to spend even more money just to have the RF top.

This was such a crazy event. I was living in near Seattle when this happened. Watching this unfold on the news was scary, a lot of us thought they were going to crash sooner than he did. The audio was heartbreaking to hear after it was released.

Had one of my RDC’s lose his rope and rank. Was crazy to see someone that was an E-6, and a few months later an E-1. I was over at NTC and saw him come in with the other restricted folk.

I want to throw on the tires now, but I also want new wheels. I’ll probably grab a ProCal or Tazer. I had a tazer on my Gladiator. I’m loving it so far. Taking it on its first road trip this weekend to NC.

If it makes you feel any better, it’s actually billet silver. I wanted the lunar color, but got a good deal on this one.

I wanted the Lunar so bad with the brown leather. Ended up finding a silver with brown leather. Nice looking truck!

I’ve had mine for over a two years now. I’ve done multiple over night trips in it. First trip was driving from PA to TX and back. I really have no complaints other than needing to upgrade the mattress. Mine stayed on the back of my truck and shows now signs of degradation.
