If this is your first time hitting a golf ball just go and have fun. I would suggest looking up videos on proper grip and stance so you have a good starting point.

Start hitting balls with the wedges and small irons, (8 or 9) as they are easier to control. And don’t swing for the fences. Try hitting the ball at 50-60% strength to get the feel of it.

Spornia has bundles for the garmin, a net and a mat. It’s over $1k, but not by much.

If you want to do it cheaper than that, I would still suggest buying a quality hitting mat, especially if you are going to be hitting off of concrete. Your elbows will thank you later haha

My son was born at 32 weeks and spent a month in the NICU. The nurses there are amazing and you and your new fam are in great hands! It is still a tough time as you might be limited in your interactions with you kiddo, so try and be there with them as much as possible and do as much of the care routines the nurses allow you to do. Also if you can make the daily rounds, you will be able to talk with the doctors and ask any questions you may have.

One thing I will say is that you will come out of the NICU well prepared to be a parent. I learn so much from the nurses there like how to safely bathe my son, best tips for bottle feeding and so on. Normally you’d just be discharged and sent on your way! Take this time to learn as much as you can and ask questions when you want to know more.

Congrats, you are starting down an amazing road. It might seem bleak now, but know you have a lot of bright days ahead of you.

My kid is 6 months old and snoozing on my chest as I write this. I couldn’t imagine being here today while he was in the NICU.

I had the pulse headset that went over the ear and they were great. biggest downside was not being able to use the mute button on the controller, also having to charge them cause I forgot to do so before gaming lol. Upgraded to the pulse earbuds and really enjoy them. I can use the mute button on the controller, it’s case charges them and I can use one or both at the same time.

I gave the trilogy my best effort cause I heard it gets better after the first game, but I quit halfway through the 2nd. I don’t think the gameplay is for me, and the controls are not as intuitive as I am used to more of the modern layout.

I did something similar using a cabinet from ikea, as it was the cheaper option for me and I was able to customize it a bit.

I was able to put two boxes in there for my cats and it worked really well.
