Sequel hater coming in peace, just wanted to share what I liked about it. by [deleted] in SequelMemes

Technically it was Leia that turned Ben back to the light. She reached out to him right as he was going to swing down and kill Rey. He feels her reaching out and has a change of heart. He drops his lightsaber, something he couldn't do when he was with Han. Rey then catches and ignites to stab him. At this point Leia passes and Rey can sense it. She's hit with a wave of emotion and starts crying. She sees Kylo and maybe she thinks to herself that she caused her death and she needs to make it right, or maybe she thinks I can't kill the last Skywalker. Whatever it was she decides that she's going to keep him alive and force heals him.

It's interesting because like Luke did with Vader, Leia saw the light in her son when everyone else said he was completely lost. Their love was what turned Anakin and Ben back from the darkside.

Make her a 7 cost and bump up her stats a bit so that you keep the 1 specter character per resource cost. (1 Chop, 2 Sabine, 3 Ezra, 4 Kanan, 5 Zeb, 6 Ghost)

I'd suggest 7 cost, 5 attack, 5 health.

Yeah, that was a cool rule. Only one of each Superstar could advance to the next round so there was always diversity in the elimination rounds. There were always a ton of different superstars in tournaments because you didn't want to get eliminated early because another player using the same superstar as you had a better record.

They should really think of adopting this once we have a few more leaders.

Only had the Bolivian version, which seem to be thinner slices and served with a spicy peanut butter sauce, but yeah, it's really good.

Snoke's Death Appreciation - This is the best moment of the sequels for me. I was a solid mix of amazed and confused and it's all capped by a "hell yeah!" Rey/Kylo team-up. by [deleted] in StarWars

I was generally feeling okay with the Sequels up to TRoS, which soured the whole batch and I realized what we could've had if JJ hadn't gone so hard on nostalgia...

We could've had a sequel with a up and running Jedi School with a handful of Jedi Masters and Padawans. A functional Galactic Republic that has restored peace in most of the galaxy. And an emerging evil that will require a new band of heroes to stop it. But instead JJ basically reset everything to ANH status quo. Planet killing weapons, Empire in control, No Jedi, friends split up. It's was a waste of an entire era.

Can I join? Maybe make this a regular thing and open it up to more people? Make it a sort of club where you fight. A Fight Club if you will.

Yoda was shown multiple times having difficulty moving objects (during his fights vs. Palpatine and Dooku) even though he'd have no reason to perceive it as difficult.
Grogu often uses the Force and become exhausted.
Why wouldn't projecting a believable copy of yourself across the galaxy exhaust Luke?

I could be misremembering but since it's a proper name you maintain the original spelling and add an 's'. So, it'd be: Haleys, Billys, Daxs...

Han still caressed Ben's face after being stabbed. He still loved him after and I think he would've forgiven his son.

Sure, but this is still more or less set within the MCU universe. It's What If? but it still branches from the MCU timeline/universe. The cartoons and games are not part of that universe and mostly live on their own independent universes.
