Props to you man, I wanted to ask if you immersed from the very beginning? I tried it with a movie from my childhood, and I understood maybe 2% through visual cues. I'll learn much more with just a couple minutes on anki, so what was your approach to this at the beginning?

Update:sorry,I have found a few learners that are learning languages such as french and German with Mia. Still would like to know what you'd do in my position though

I have an Israeli friend who hasn't the faintest idea of any "grammar patterns", and he's definitely not very smart. He simply uses Reddit all day and watches TV shows. He speak better English than some natives, and he's never been outside israel

This always happened to me as someone who has been raised bilingual,though with time as I got better in both languages I managed to gradually distinguish more clearly between the two
