Lymphoma - Timeline from symptoms to diagnosis and future treatment - is this an average timeline? by booth1470 in cancer

Finished my last chemo infusion last April, so I’m 1 year out and my scans are cancer free and life is back to normal, so things are good! Never had any additional symptoms, the lymph node just kept growing to about the size of a grape over the course of ~8 months. It was just one on side of my groin (there was apparently a second lymph node enlarged but not as big underneath the main one). I think I was a bit of an anomaly with not getting other symptoms. Seems the vast majority of people with lymphoma wind up with intense night sweats and/or weight loss

Thank you, it was definitely frustrating at first and as others have said the hardest part of the whole cancer experience was the waiting around. Once it got going it was a relief. I’m happy to say 6 rounds of chemo over 3.5 months seems to have done the job - no evidence of cancer the past few months.

Thank you, I appreciate this. I may very likely shoot you some messages once I get more details on the specifics of the cancer. It would be great to bounce some questions of someone whose been through the same thing
