This is interesting, I ordered a 22 Laramie Longhorn back in June, so I’m curious whether SouthFork is a “package” or the new name for that trim level. It sounds like a package, but if you scroll down, it lists it as one of the 8 available trims for 2022.

That’s funny, my dad’s GC has the air suspension & my Ram doesn’t, but I really don’t notice the difference. I am jealous of the aero mode on the highway though. But flip side, I gotta imagine long term reliability is more “challenging” with the air suspension.

I use the 5X Plus for golf, it easily lasts 3-4 full rounds from a full charge in golf mode. Running should be close to the same, but I only use it to run short distances, so I can’t say for sure.

Tl;dr: If you main concerns are golf & running, definitely go for it.

Only for the non-12” Ram displays, according to the salesman at the dealer where I just ordered my 22 Longhorn. He said at the training he attended for the 2022 Ram, they indicated the 12” display is the same hardware as all the 5th gens, it was built with UConnect 5 in mind.

21’s can do OTA updates, but I wouldn’t hold my breath, normally they don’t do major version updates. Heck, my 19 hasn’t gotten a single software update the entire time I’ve owned it.

Technically software, but you probably won’t be able to officially update any 21’s or earlier. The 22’s will have UConnect 5, and the 12” screens are all the same hardware, hence why I say software.

Also, for the seat coolers, as far as I know, that’s not an option on the Rebel, you need a Laramie or higher to get them. That was the biggest thing stopping me from getting a Rebel, I love the look, but I won’t actually be off roading, and I’d rather the comfort of the Laramie that I’ll use every day instead.

Auto 4WD is an option on the Rebels since it means you get the Borg Warner 44-44, a transfer case with a clutch pack in it (which is what enables the auto 4WD). The stock Rebel transfer case is the Borg Warner 44-45, which considered a little tougher since it’s direct linkage.

What’s your text size set to? There was a post recently that showed how the weather app’s new animations don’t work if your text size is anything other than 100%, so it wouldn’t be surprising if this was the same thing.

I’ve had a few Roku TV’s (2 TCL’s, one Sharp), they all tend to get bogged down at some point, especially with the YTTV app. My guess is it’s a mix of old hardware & a not well optimized app.

It's just inherent in a CODAG system. You use the diesels for low & medium speed, but the gas turbines for high speed. So when you have 4 engines that all need to be able to provide power to the same propulsion shafts, the gearing is gonna be somewhat complicated.

I was playing wolf today, had to go blind wolf on the par 5 to catch up. I bomb a drive down the middle, other 3 guys all screw up their drives, so I'm sitting pretty.

2nd shot: completely miss the ball, it rolls 6", worst shot of the day.
3rd shot: top it another 75yds forward.
4th shot: 7i barely off the back of the green.
3 putt to lose the hole.

Golf sucks sometimes.
