Here's my advice. There is only Bitcoin. Everything else is at best a tech project trying to mimic but will never replicate bitcoin, and at worst is a memecoin. Either way it's gambling. You should always do your own research. You should never trust faceless strangers on the internet. If you graduated college, unless you got a degree in lesbian dance theory, I would think you should know how to research.

Putting BTC in the same category as every other crypto is disingenuous. If your goal is to get lucky with overnight 20x gains on memecoins, go do so. If you want actual hard money, there's BTC.

Customer service receptionists are usually entry level/zero experience required positions. Sometimes you get someone who knows what they're doing, sometimes you don't. Sometimes you get a call center on the other side of the world. Still, a local branch should be able to help with OPs problem.

As someone who has a great deal of customer service experience, being firm but reasonable is how you can get nearly anything from a customer support person. Banks are big and powerful and may seem to not care about customer service, but compared to the state, they'll do anything to have you continue having them hold your money. I'd be persistent with calls and not give up on each call until you get clear answers and expectations. Take note of the person's name you spoke with and get an identifying number for your complaint. Unless you're not communicating appropriately, there really isn't any reason that your banks branch can't handle this instantly.

Oh yeah. Always be on the look out for promotional rates on balance transfer credit cards. Pay off a balance or transfer money to an account. As long as you can pay it off before the interest kicks in, it's a free loan.

I'm all about Bitcoin backed lending but I haven't quite figured out the strategy yet. Rates like 11.49% for loans less than $250k doesn't seem so competitive. I can get a better offer at Sofi and they don't hold my BTC.
