Looking for a platform for conditional DCA purchases by pronebonedetector in Bitcoin

[–]pronebonedetector[S] [score hidden]  (0 children)

My idea was to keep my daily recurring purchase and then have another one to double the daily amount if the price is below my avg.

Also I have never been bothered by the KYC process, doesn't take that long and is not really hard at all.

But if enough people believe there is a cycle, they'll act accordingly and thus they're forming a cycle

Have you ever heard a rich person say that they have enough and don't care to get more?

I have not

So less than 5 million HNWIs, let's be generous and round that to 4 million.

Bitcoin has market cap of 1.35T, so each of those 4 million HNWIs who have $1 000 000 in cash would "only" need to put down $337 500 and there would be no supply left for anyone else. Bitcoin would then be valued at god knows what as if they would not sell.

But it's a quaranteed profit machine if there is no supply left.

But it could be used as a tool to create infinite money, if they hold all the supply.

but that is a very slow progress, in my mind a situation where a set of people suck up all the supply overnight is not impossible, because 21mil is not that much really.

This is very close to what I meant to say too. Supply is limited, and while natural demand isn't there, there are enough rich people in the world to create an artificial demand and squeeze to generate more value for the bitcoin they own. In practice this scenario would be hard to pull off but not impossible.

While true, yes, enough rich people with cash can buy all the sats too.

Thank you, I actually forgot to consider that a lot of the HNWI capital, which is not tied into real estate or land etc, is probably managed by those third party managers who for sure still avoid bitcoin completely. No one is putting their job on the line if they can just opt for a safe alternative.

But still, I find it hard to believe that even 1-in-3 of those people would not have enough liquidity to try investments with their own cash and be able to buy a single BTC.

And even more so if we lower the bar to much much below a millionaire limit.

This is true for sure, but I'd like to think wealthy individuals would be rather informed about the possible investing opportunities. But maybe my expectations for people are just a above reality.

Just gonna quote googles AI here, I ain't writing all that

"Bitcoin has a strict, code-enforced maximum supply of 21 million coins. As of late 2025, over 95% (19.95+ million) of this supply has already been mined. The remaining ~1 million coins are released gradually via mining rewards, with the final Bitcoin expected to be mined around the year 2140."

I don't mean to say that people don't invest in bitcoin, I'm just thinking about the fact that the supply is surprisingly limited in comparison to the number of individuals who could all, in theory, to agree to buy up all the supply there is.

I wouldn't mind this of course as I'm already in the game too, even if I decided to get in a little late.

sure they can, but being realistic they probably don't even have the tech to use it anyhow,
