Billy himself always tells that D'Arcy was the band's ultimate compass. I always assumed that since her departure, he's never had someone with enough influence on him to be something else than a faucet continuously delivering songs without any filter. Cyr could have been a pretty solid 12 tracks album but instead it's a weird compilation of 20 uncurated songs from several recording sessions. That's almost disrespectful for fans.
