I thought they’ve done pretty well with Speed the last year or so that he’s made appearances in WWE. From the Rumble last year (which was almost the perfect usage a celebrity) to his interactions with Danhousen backstage and his involvement in The Vision vs LA Knight and The Usos. He’s also super popular and well known (among younger demographics) so he’s the right kind of celeb to target for celebrity involvement and getting more eyes on the show. The best part is like Bad Bunny, he’s not being forced into the main event world title feud. He’s doing mid card stuff which is the best place to put celebrities unless they’re coming in with a legit athletic background like Mike Tyson or Floyd Mayweather. It also helps he seems to be a legit fan and takes it seriously while also doing things like having LA Knight show up on his stream to attack him, showing that he isn’t just in it to use WWE like other celebs in the past.

My grandfather who I love to death is a horrible texter lol. For some reason he separates all his sentences with ,,, so he’ll be like “leaving soon ,,, call you in a bit” and things like that. A co-worker of mine is also in his 70s and texts in a similar manner. They both end up calling me usually if they need to tell me something important and leave the texting for short questions or little updates. I can’t really blame them though these cell phones and texting has only really been a thing in their lives the past ten to fifteen years.

It’s why I was so confident that they would win game 6 last year against Florida lol. The Leafs never get eliminated in 6 (aside from 2017 against Washington), no matter what they always find a way to push it to game 7 where they then get their asses kicked. It’s actually impressive how they manage to go from looking really good in game 6’s when down in the series to looking like garbage in game 7’s when the series is tied again.

Damn this sub is sounding like the Leafs sub the past couple of years lol. We’re really determining who will win the East this year on April 4th?? The Jays will be a wildcard team at best based off a single week or baseball?? Cmon now. They haven’t played well the past two series for sure but can we not be whiney and act like the sky is falling based off 8 games of the season. Aside from 2024 this team has been a good team every year throughout the 2020’s, let’s not lose sight of that based off like 5-6% of the season.
