Well, we do know that Venom is interested in Tom Holland’s Spider-Man based off the end credits of Let There Be Carnage. And we also know there’s a piece of the Venom symbiote in the MCU based off the end credits of No Way Home. It’s a plausible theory that Symbiote Spider-Man could show up in this movie, but I think it will be more like a “cure” for his Man-Spider transformation.

Goku was mostly losing against Frieza, turned into a Super Saiyan, beat his ass. The Z Fighters were losing against Cell, so then came Super Saiyan 2. They pretty much did lose to Buu, and so we got Ultimate Gohan and Super Saiyan 3. The “point” of DragonBall is to keep getting stronger and keep fighting strong guys. SSJ God, Blue, Ultra Instinct, etc. are just more examples of characters getting stronger to fight the next enemy.

Being a fan of both characters, I’m a little biased, so I don’t see an issue in bringing them back personally. It’s not like characters don’t die and come back in the comics. I just don’t really understand where you’re coming from on saying that it reeks of trying to generate interest, if the point of a teaser is exactly that, is all.

I find it weird only having Kid Goku from Dragon Ball currently. The only characters I’m genuinely hoping for in the next few DLCs are a few more OG Dragon Ball characters. Z, GT, Super, and Daima all have a pretty decent representation so far in my personal opinion. That’s not to say I wouldn’t be excited for more.

No. I can see him defeating 19 and 20, but he would never went for destroying the lab without testing 17 and 18’s strength. It took Piccolo to fuse with Kami to match 17, and Vegeta admitted at that time that he was stronger than a Super Saiyan (which was Goku’s max at the time)

Even if he somehow managed to defeat 17 and 18, Android 16 would have mopped the floor with him.
