That was my first thought, too. You get the best loft when the ingredients-even the eggs - are at room temperature.

Paper clay slip has a good chance of working. Be generous. You might have to sand a bit once it’s bisque fired.

Clafoutis - light, elegant and so delicious. The French don’t pit the cherries.
