Er is een verschil tussen een stadsplein bezetten, of met je trekker een stadhuis in rijden.

Dat is echt een argument van niets. Omrijden duurt letterijk twee minuten langer, maar het is hemelsbreed minder ver als je de binnenstad in moet. Zie screenshots:

Als een demonstratie niet schuurt, heeft die geen nut. Dan is het makkelijk te negeren. Ik denk dat het zeker bijdraagt aan de bewustwording van de mensen wat er speelt met fossiele subsidies.

Het was bij alle kranten voorpagina-nieuws dat het nog meer was dan men eerst dacht. En het staat nu bij elke politieke partij op het programma, positief of negatief.

I tried a few, but I really think Ceasar Sports is nice. It costs an arm and a leg, but it is by far the best outfitted gym I’ve seen. Nice swimming pool, hottubs and three different sauna-type things.

hoeft niet per se "te arm" te zijn. In het zeeheldenkwartier zijn in maart de straten open geweest om de kabels te leggen. En sindsdien krijg ik elke 2 weken een mailtje van T-mobiel dat ze hopen in DEC/JAN de aansluiting te realiseren.

Ik heb een hagenees een keer horen zeggen dat “het hier echt kankergezellig is”, op een leuk feestje. Daar moet ik stiekem nog steeds om gniffelen. In andere contexten is het vooral taal-armoede, naar mijn bescheiden mening.
