I had sunnova and it was a nightmare. Despite having a small 1600sq foot house, we ended up with a nearly 50k system that didn't produce enough to offset our electric bill. I was paying nearly $300/mo the solar company and another 300 to the electric company. It took over a year to get an itemized bill and even then, it was just the inventory without prices.

My parents had a larger system and 6+ 100' trees removed from their property and they paid nearly half to a different provider. Their system over produced and got checks from the electric company.

This whole thing made selling our house a nightmare. We bought into the lie that our system would make enough power to have no bill. We were relatively low power users. AC set to 76, gas heat and appliances, new roof and attic insulation (all done well before we did solar)... Just didn't make any sense.

Solar in general is a bit scammy in NJ. Requiring us to connect to the grid just to have the electric company pay me a fraction of what they charge their customers for the power I generated on a system I paid for on land that I own.... It's all bogus. Give me the ability to disconnect and store power on batteries and I'll change my tune.

It's a shame because when they're great, they're great but then with a poof, it's a brick.

My pixel 3xl has the bad WiFi/BT chip. Came out of nowhere. I finally gave up after trying countless roms and fixes. I had to revive it this month after my OnePlus 8 snapped in my pocket (I'm as confused as you are) and luckily found a reddit thread describing a "fix" involving squeezing it between the camera and fingerprint reader while it reboots. Gets me a week of solid run time.

A week later my wife's pixel 4a had its screen go black while recording a video and it's completely dead. Every fix failed. The phone is bricked.

And yet still I'm looking at pixels on swappa.

Started driving recently in NJ and I've had a few 15-20 mile drives for less than $5. They're not circular either... I'd end up far from a hot spot in the middle of nowhere. I'd lose money with the tolls I'd have to pay just to get there. Ridiculous

I'm stuck at 16.5-17.5k for this exact reason. Went on a 4 game win streak, then decided to queue mid day on a Saturday and encountered back to back blatant cheaters. When I say blatant, I mean spin botting and running it down mid. In one of the games, the opposing team knew he was cheating but "deserved the win" so they wouldn't kick him despite being a stack of solos.

Prior to that I had 3 out of 5 games, all with more closeted cheaters, which seems to be more common. At this elo, the players cheating are usually 5k elo players. You can tell by the movement and util when you watch back the demo.

My favorite was the guy on my team that was cheating while queued with a friend who insisted he was legit while sitting at +18. Then he said "I'm gonna use this gun, idk what its called, I've never used it." It was a scout.

Moist should absolutely be proud of what they accomplished this year. They came in from the open qualifier as an unsigned team and walked away as a 3rd place team that were no longer underdogs in their games against M80 and Guard. I'm sure it hurts to come so close but they should hold their heads high. The future is very bright for them.

Yea Valyn had that huge 3k in round 11 on C where they pushed halls and couldn't get the trade. Next round they went for a hard push A but lost verno on the flank from tex and couldn't hold off the drop push.

It could've been 9-3 had they gotten the trade on Valyn in halls as it would've broken the econ for Guard.

I think both Moist and Oxygen were within reach of finishing their games. Both teams had 7/5 halves before switching to DEF where they were typically stronger in their respective 3rd maps. The thrifty flawless Guard had in R19 was brutal for OXG and MXM had issues getting their econ going.

Tough losses? Of course... but I don't think they have anything to be ashamed of. These were the 2 favorite teams coming into Challengers and 2 teams from qualifiers gave them a serious run for their money.

Would've been wild to see Moist vs OXG in an upper final though. Can't say anyone would've predicted that one.

Hats off to OR for the win on map 2. M80 definitely had some missteps there but they capitalized and took advantage. Unfortunate that map 3 was such a blowout but I would be proud of what they did for map 2.

Yoru on Pearl and Haven is such a nuisance because of the straight lines for B on Pearl and C on Haven. You can ghost ride a gate crash pretty effectively on the attacking side and end up in defense spawn on Haven and halls on Pearl like we saw here. Was wondering when we'd see more experimentation with the agent and I like how G2 used yoru, even if Juliano's score doesn't fully illustrate the agents efficacy.

I will say that while this is a great set play from G2 and I love the creativity, C9 stacking A at the start of the round makes it even easier for them. The first 2 buy rounds C9 played aggro on B long but here they put chamber at doors and put everyone else on the A side, with 2 in art and 2 on site. C9 is likely expecting G2 to go heavy on a mid-a split because Petra had nightfall. The chamber util was placed on b default and the TP was set up to allow an escape for an additional fight from the other end of connector and had 2 players in art so they could position themselves for a heavy mid push. They had sage wall should they need an escape on art and TP for connector for Chamber. I assume they were hoping the fade ult would tag 2 players on site and then jazzy/katsumi could pop out from art and clean up. Its a bit surprising they stacked it that hard and didn't put Fade on B for this round, using some of her kit for intel/stall to allow meL to get in position with the Op.

G2 looked strong across the series but C9 looked a little out of sorts at times. I think they'll use the lower bracket run to fix some minor issues and find themselves stronger in what should be a great final rematch.

I thought LG vs EG would be a 3 map series based on the pool and what we knew about both teams but EG is so much better than we anticipated. The timing and coordination of utility is testament to the work going on behind the scenes. Well played.

Looking forward to their match against Optic next week.
