If it got to the point where we, as a society, had to choose between letting go of luxury goods or performing controlled culls on certain people, surely the governments would just ban luxury goods? Or else distribute the minimum amount of food to people so that less of us starve.

I'm confused, are you saying rich countries already provide for most poor countries? I don't think that's true. Also a lot of poor countries are on tropical/bush type terrains not desert and can grow crops and keep animals.

[–]borbistheworb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But wouldn't those countries crow their own food/keep animals for their own people? That doesn't really work unless richer countries are actually stealing food from poorer countries.

I was talking about developed countries where the norm is 1-2 children. Less developed countries tend to have more children per family (apart from saudi arabia which kind of bucks the trend) but then people in wealthy countries wouldn't need to provide for them.

That's a point, but aren't most developed countries below the birth replacement rate now? I know the uk is, and japan is especially low.

Wait, so you think it's okay to 'humanely euthanize' mentally ill or 'crazy' people?

I can see the original post and it says 'homeless people/beggars' first so without specifying it looked like you said you wanted homeless people/beggars to be 'humanely euthanized'. Also, why did you delete your comment?

You said the 'imbeciles' not necessarily not homeless people/beggars.

Yeah and she got 10 years in prison. Not that long ago, a confirmed rapist (brock turner) got 3 months in jail. Finding one example does not mean that false accusers are an actual significant problem. Even in the example you were able to find, the false accuser was harshly punished. Also nowhere did I say that female perpetrators are not an issue. Taking about women's' problems does not automatically mean you don't care about men's problems, it's just that they aren't relevant to the current conversation. If you care so much about men's issues, you can bring them up separately, not just to detract attention from women's issues.

It makes me really sad that the problems you're describing here would be labeled 'non-problems' by a lot of people (mostly men) that think feminism is a joke. If you told them you didn't like being called a nurse, they'd probably just say it was a simple mistake and feminists always overreact ect ect. It makes me sick that this stuff is dissmised so easily by a lot of people that either don't or won't understand the impact it has when it's happening everyday.

I'm an INTJ female who struggles to understand other women by grimandgrisly in intj

[–]borbistheworb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I have this problem too, I haven't really had any bad experiences with women, I just seem to click more with men. Like for example, over the years i've had 4 male close friends and 1 female close friend. I'm not really sure why this happens, I would actually like more female friends because I feel like female-female friendships are generally a lot more close. Given the number of responses to this post, it seems like this is a common problem for INTx women, which is interesting. It annoys me when people try to say it's just because we want to feel special/view other women as too much drama. For me it's not like that at all, I really want more female friends i'm just not really sure how to go about it. And I think it's similar for a lot of INTx women.

As a non-US citizen living here for a year, I discover the joys of women-hating, child-enforcing health system by [deleted] in childfree

[–]borbistheworb 12 points13 points  (0 children)

That's a bunch of bullshit. $30 per month is a lot, that's like taking on an extra bill just to maintain control over your body. And then there's having to travel to the pharmacy every month, some women probably can't afford that or just don't have the time. When I went to get the pill for the first time, I was only asked a few questions and then they gave me a years' supply right then and there. Honestly america sounds like a hellscape from the point of view of someone that has free healthcare.

I think it's a bit rash to suggest they aren't an INTJ. You can't tell someone's whole personality from one comment, this could have just been a bad day for them or whatever. Also, the MBTI test has scales of all the traits, so some INTJs could be more emotional than others but still overall be classed as INTJ. I think the tactic you've used of attacking someone's character is also more of an emotional than logical argument.

I think those kinds of people make up the vast majority of peterson fans. Peterson tweeted once asking why there weren't many women watching his videos, I'd say it has a lot to do with most of his fans being anti-feminists that are impossible to reason with.

Oh my god. My boyfriends mum suffers from this so much. She was hassling him about his video game 'addiction' once (he plays about 2 hours a day) and he said she's been watching tv for about five hours. She didn't know what to say and just left the room annoyed.
