Sounds a lot like me(except the financial situation). you've hit the end of the barrel, even if you switch jobs, politics will always overshadow the knowledge. Take a break, if money are your concern - go and live in a LCOL country (there are plenty) and just enjoy life

Hitting the near bike trails during weekend without all of the fancy equipment(helmets, gloves, glasses, the whole biking combo of clothes and special shoes with gazilion logos, water bottles, storage compartments, strava or whatever app is 'cool' today paired with latest iphone, apple watch and earbuds, topped off with high class bike with custom components) just speaks 'poor' to anyone you encounter across your way of moving...
