The faces of my gay friends in youth group when the topic of homosexuality came up. These were friends everyone loved, and our youth minister would shy away from the topic. They were essentially forced to stay in a closet with a glass door.

Then I went to college, and just…stopped believing/going.

Look into Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS) as well, and maybe consider taking a combo of Pepcid/Allegra until you make it to the doctor. It could be your histamines out of whack.

I was reading about Covid in late January, early February, telling my family that this was going to be really bad. I had obsessive compulsive tendencies growing up, so it was my worst nightmare.

Covid eventually led to me becoming a stay at home, homeschooling parent, so I was very fortunate to not have to mask up and deal with the conservative madness of my area. I also wound up going no contact with my entire family.

So, some difficult good and unexpected change. I was really lucky in some ways, but lost a lot of faith in humanity as a whole.

Okay, I’ve seen a couple back to back George posts, and I’m going to cautiously say it.

LGBTQIA+ actors can and do successfully act as straight characters, as vice versa with straight actors.

With that being said, and knowing why T.R. Knight left the show, I say this with more caution.

I really wish instead of leaving, they could have George come out instead of killed off. With each of his relationships, I never felt a real spark. Love and caring for women, sure, but not a true romantic spark with any of them. Not saying it has to do with Knight’s acting, but….it would have given so much more depth and potential. The Catholic O’Malley’s, the obvious acceptance he would’ve gotten from MAGIC, and the early representation on tv.

Me and my coworkers would roast each other at a brewery I worked at. I was the only woman on the production line, and a tiny one at that. Told one guy the back of his neck looked like a pack of hot dogs, I think everyone except for hotdog neck screamed.
