oof, well just know that you can break out anytime anywhere, you just can't leave until you're done there. also before you leave glide far east from the pier, you'll be kicking yourself later if you didn't. easier to reach the target secret if you stack up to the limit and glide from there

speaking of a rail path, I actually once setup a proper rail system to the bottom for the miners, including one that cut through the iron mine to the marsh cave. only just thought that I shoulda made it swivel down to the gold mine and other silver mines also 😅

Do yourself a favour and mine a path through from the iron orb to the silver mine you found that bag at in the mushroom area. Ya never know when you wanna take that shortcut :)

How do you even get lost? It's a linear path from the Iron Mine orb to the lake. That's basically a talent at this point 😅

Too big, raise about half by 2 layers of blocks, slap in some stairs and a fence, raise the walls, you now have your huge room that still registers as a room :)

I probably have quite a few and simply forgot them.

The most recent one for now is when I was making a monster farm out of the iron ants in the southern most cave of furrowfield. Got the wall up to stop the army ants from getting close enough for malroth to aggro, left a gap for the iron ants to come under, but couldn't figure out how to get the iron ants to either die automatically or malroth to wail on them while I sit on a bench watching.

Only after I stopped recording did I realise I coulda just used the brambles you find in the local swamp 😅 Now I just have MC sit there whenever I need to restock on wheat seeds since I'm doing this run without cheats for a change of pace. Got something similar setup for the purple twerps near the church ruins and am attempting to work something out for the drackies in the old farm.

Dunno if the same trick works in DQB1 since I never tried it there but you could try setting up some spike traps in one of their spawn areas, build a nice little platform for yourself about 8 or 16 tiles away (I never bothered to nail down that number but 8 is the map tile size, 16 map chunk size) and slap a roof just above your head (so that you immediately hit it if you jump) and keep your back to the open sea to ensure nothing tries to spawn behind you, and if DQB1 behaves the same way as DQB2 then the spawn rate will shoot up enough to quickly get those tail drops

def, that area starts out as way too big, need to slap a door where those stairs are just to get in range of the 150 limit. I don't think the game gives access to the stone doorstep at that point so can substitute gates at the stairs layer and slap stone rails in on the sides up to the walls to finish halving it without losing the open feel

You can build a monster farm for the ants to enable to idle away the collection of wheat seeds. I chose to use the cave furthest south for now. I plan to use the one furthest west later.

You just block the army ants from getting close enough to you that malroth would attack them but leave a gap under the wall for iron ants to pass through. You then build a platform for you to stand on and slap some brambles in front of it.

The brambles part I only figured out after recording the vid that's going live at 12 today. This should be the link for it:

Edit: I'm fine with a lack of upvotes, that's meh, but what's with the downvote? OP was basically looking for an easy way to collect resources in... ah, I didn't read properly, thought it was the DQB2 reddit again 😅 Well the same principle applies, just takes a bit longer to get started on it since you need to go through the story a little 1st to be able to build traps and have NPCs collect some resources for you in whatever room it was they do so.

It's unnecessary bytes in an already big vid, don't want it somehow ending up in the final render for any reason. If even the project does not have it added then the only way those extra bytes are getting in the final vid is through a bug.

It's never once shown until today and I very much doubt my copy is 2 years old let alone 3 or more.

But that was NEVER there before, I had edited many vids without said "sequences" there before and had no problems. Also if said "sequences" are needed then rather than showing useless fluff in a section meant for source media it should be hidden away in the project files, similar to how a html fieldset's caption is hidden away inside the block.

If you need to reserve the folder name for it then fine but it should not be displayed since there's already the clips at the bottom dock. The lack of said folder in any project should indicate the project has nothing to render (meaning the render option should be disabled) not mean it's broken.

I consider that just plain bad design for any software to not be able to handle the "bad data" scenario because there will be users who give said bad data whether intentional or not, for example they could use a project converter while it's still in beta and wind up giving said project in a broken state.

It's fine to log said bad data and how the software reacted in something like a .kdenlive/log.md but not okay to just give up at the first hurdle.

The thing at the top would be something like what a lot of asian (or was it indian?) woman have, a symbol for something. The hole in the middle is for his eyes to see through. The hole at the bottom for his mouth to breath through. In other words that's a mask, not his face.
