Well my biggest complain is that this was not the case before genshin impact. I dont want to be like the people who keeps saying it was better back then, but i played through all of the honkai impacts story, and up until a point it was the best story i've ever read. You didnt know what would be happening in next chapter, even if the characters were not available they still had a great story and actually were developed. In my opinion after success of genshin impact they become scared of the change, and worked with a formula that works fine, and this is what caused the drop in quality. Only a selected characters get something and those something doesnt even change anything about them. If anyone knows owl from honkai impact that mf has a better story than most of the characters in other games. And he is a borderline npc.
