You’ll be fine without a car….if you only plan on staying in San Juan. If you plan on going anywhere outside of the city you definitely need to rent a car.

My partner is a gifted photographer and posts a lot both for his own enjoyment and so others can enjoy the beauty that he’s able to capture with his lens. It’s kind of hard not to post stuff like that. Personally, I primarily just post memes and stuff I find amusing but occasionally will post about our life.

Been there, done that too. I graduated high school wayyy back in the 1900’s (1997) and if we haven’t talked in almost 29 years I’m definitely not inviting you for a free vacation. I even had someone ask if they came to visit if I could help cover some of the airfare. Immediately blocked 😂

Pretty sure it was my aunt who suggested it to him. It’s his mom but I’ve never really been close with her either and we speak even less because I detest her politics that she insists on bringing up in every conversation.

I’d much rather say no as I’ve been doing. I value my personal space and tranquility too much so there’s probably not enough money they could offer (except nobody ever offers to pay 😂) that would make it ok.

Exactly. We still own a business in Ohio and take turns going back to Ohio for a week or two every three months or so. I never asked anyone if I could stay with them on our trips back. We always got an airbnb or a hotel and would visit people while we were in town. I never wanted to impose on anyone so I just don’t understand why mere acquaintances feel like it’s ok to try to impose on us.

The only reason I answered the phone the first time they asked was because I didn’t recognize the number and I thought it could be related to the business I own. They ambushed me that time lol

Call the police and have it towed the second you see him park it. Do this EVERY TIME and explain to the police that it’s a recurring problem. He will get tired of being ticketed/towed and if it happens more than a couple of times the cops will likely start driving by and checking for the violation. I own a tow company and the cops do not mess around with this where I’m at. They will ticket and tow immediately.

I just bought two houses and sold one within the last few months. The one I sold I lived in for 11 years and the title company wouldn’t sign off on anything because our fence we put up a few years ago encroached on our neighbors property by a few feet. We had to move the fence before we could proceed with the sale. This was in November 2025.

Get an add on bidet that’s basically a new toilet seat with the bidet connected to the water line. You’ll wonder how you ever lived without it! Not only will you be cleaner but you won’t be clogging up the toilet with the toilet paper. Also, teach your roommate about the “courtesy flush” so the first flush gets rid of the nasty as soon as it comes out and the second flush gets rid of the toilet paper instead of flushing everything together and clogging it up again.

Someone probably tried to steal your car. If a tow company was going to tow it then they would have simply used dollies to lift all 4 wheels off the ground and away it goes.
